look i use to drive e k9 civic and yes i drifted.or slide whatever, that car, but we cant stop the ricers from getting to the sport of drifting and yes it is a sport a very hard one to master, just like the wanna be import racers "ricers" messed up the import scene the real jdm racers are still in it, and the reason all you see is ricers is because the real import racing went farther underground.
Thats why i went with the 240 because it a true japanese sports car, and nobody new the potentail of this car cause every1 wanted a b16 in there honda beater, the reasoon every1 disses hondas cause it went hollywood, every1 hated hondas cause the were slow, that was proven wrong so now every1 wants to be cool and have a honda. any1 with altezza lights and a exhaust thinks he is a drag racer heck i betcha i can teach my dog how to dump the clucth and shift twice!!!:) the difference between a drifter and a powersliding wanna be is, either you can drift or cant the people into the real JDM drift scene know the rules, just as with the JDM import scene, as for me i have never seen a single drift video on the entire WWW that hasnt been a RWD car .

i disagree.... why would you hate honda??? honda did not do anything... they did not place or make those aftermarket APC taillights... company such as APC TYC did it not Honda.... so dont go around knocking honda like they are ****...
240sx is just like a civic... it needs a transplant to be fast.....
240sx is the next bandwagon whether you like it or not.... so thats one of the reason im staying away from it... for one thieves will be attracted..... and since there arent much that is knock off for the 240s' you have to buy the real deal which is expensive... and which would suck if you got jack......

That's a good point mickee. You have to remember that things become "bandwagon" because they are usually good things. Ideas are so rarely origonal that only a hipocrit would say that they don't follow a crowd sometimes.
The 240sx is just a smaller bandwagon than the civic one so a lot of people think it's more origonal. But, in reality, it's still not origonal, because someone did it before you. It's just that less people did it before you.

I jsut dont get people.... a car is a car.. ti doesnt matter who makes them or what power they put out... if you are a car enthusiast you would appreciate it...
I know a man who owns a PORSCHE turbo and someone posted about a 10sec street driven civic...
someone commented and said.. and i quote "then again after all of that it still a POS civic" the PORSCHE owner said.. "i dont care it runs 10's i dont care what kind of car it is... it will own my ***" that right there shows class.... and someone who truly appreciate the wonders of cars.... not what manufacturer it is or what type of drivetrain it has.....

This is such a huge problem in western WA it's not even funny. Property crime/Auto theft is way up, again. Today I stopped in at Subway, parked next to a rice-special crx. Bad rattle can paint, terrible wing, various unpainted body kit pieces, painted white dash/interior pieces, etc. Passenger door lock gone. Steering column plastic broken/removed. No radio. Wires hanging from radio location. I'd say this car has been worked over a couple of times by thieves. Driver's door lock also busted out. Back in '99, I just had to have me a new blue civic si. Big mistake. It lasted about 6 months before being broken into at my work.
The dealer with the most theft/vandalism is the local Honda dealer. Thieves walk right past the Audi/Porsche dealer, past Infiniti, past the Lexus dealer, they ignore BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, and steal....Hondas..?
Amazing. That's the beauty of a luxury car. I'll never own a popular, inexpensive economy car again. Thieves generally aim for what they can move. How many of these deadbeat, low life second rate criminals can move a Porsche? None, but there sure is quite a market for Honda and Acura. You basically have to buy your way out of the criminal demographic and get a luxury car that these thieves either don't know how to steal, or aren't interested because there's no market for stolen Jaguar seats. Sure, there are vehicle thefts of all kinds, but the ratio of Honda to any luxury car is staggering.

well those also come to price... the maintenance are not easy as a honda or anything... most europen cars need special tools to be worked on.....
and just like freak i would take a civic/integra (not accord) over the q45.. for one they are too bulky and i dont have a family so i dont need something that big....

look i might have mis stated
i dont hate hondas i love honda i still regret selling my 99 hatchback but i never knocked hondas i knocked ricers, those who mess hondas buy pretending to be racers by putting altezza lights and a $50 chrome exhaust on there car, honda is prtobably one of the best car companies in the world when it comes to small displacemnts, who else can get 160 hps out of a 1.6 liter! but like i said the pretenders flooded the import scene and ruined it , the true racers just went low key, and true 240's are the next big thing to hit stateside. but how many fixed up 240's do you see fixed up? not alot because like mickee said for 240s its expensive, and its parts are hard to come buy, thats why i like it:ylsuper , plus only real tuners would spend the real money needed to tune a 240 and plus oversteer is funner than underster:icesangel
