Well my rear hatch is gutted. So I just pretend that I'm getting something out of my car but Im actually disconnecting the fuel pump connector. Then I just toss my bag of tool over so they can't see it unpluged.

^^ Thats a good idea actually or pull the fuel pump fuse.. Or relay or take the coil wire with you, Or Use a chain lock and lock your wheel to the tow hook ... Or get quick release pedals such as clutch or gas. And detachable steering wheel. LOL

Park in a mine field

park in the garage, then lock the garage, then arm the alarm.

how about chaining it up to a light pool or something of the sort using the tow hooks.

Hey don't forget the two in the front also while you're at it.

Considering the noise and sight of a tow truck, if someone was going to steal your car with one, they would more than likely use something comparable to a repo rig such as an eagle claw. My old brother repossesses with one of these and it takes about 20 seconds to hook a car and roll under ideal circumstances. ............
but that wouldnt work cause we are rear wheel drive and everyone thinks we are front haha. so if they did do it that way and it was in gear be prepared fora fvcked up transmission.

i just put the word out o nthe street that it has one badass alarm and no one touches it. haha... plus the problem that the ignition is hard.

but seriously i think i will install a push start button. plus hidden fuel cut. and a hidden ignition cut.

Trust me on this, they don't use the tow hooks. They wrap the straps around the rear lower control arms and pull.

The tow company that pulled me out of a ditch wouldn't use them. I can understand, though. The suspension is a much stronger point to pull on. Also, I'm missing a rear tow hook from having my exhaust installed.

Ain't it a *****? I guess thats why you set the ebrake. Keep those wheels from turning as much as you can.

Seriously, if the repo guy does mess up your car when it gets taken it often doesn't matter. Unless you're talking $50K+, that blown transmission wouldn't faze the bank. They just want to recover anything at that point. If the owner pays to get the car back, its on them to have it fixed.

I like to strap a bomb to my car, and I put up a sign to warn them.Oddly enough they don't believe it, and they end up blowing up the car anyways. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

What would I do?

Live in a nice neighborhood, a home with a garage, get a car alarm, not leave the keys in it, look the doors, and if all else fails put a bomb in the car that activates with the alarm.

That way it would blow up if they stole it, and in the mornings when you really dont want to go to work you have to hit that alarm button, and get to the bomb and disable it before it blows up. Great mornig wake up process

fuel pump shut-off switch yes, battery no

if you cut power from the battery everytime you get out it will reset your ecu and your ecu will have to re-learn everytime you drive it.

if the fuel pump switch isnt enough i would rig up a switch for the starter instead.

if you rig a switch to the starter instead of the fuel pump you could still use a turbo timer.

Kid? Now you are showing ignorance...

See the sarcasm at the end? "That'd be great!!!" That was humor. Congrats again.

So I guess since you have more post than me you're a) older, and b) wiser. Wow that's amazing. I guess I was wrong, you must really be from the Internet.
