this may be a stupid question, but how are those of us with the H11 bulb aftermarket HID kits going to be able to use the projectors that have d2r bulbs??

people with aftermarket hid kits and h11 bulbs the best bet for you is once you get your lights done, to sell the bulbs on ebay, you can get 40-50 usually for them. and then with the projectors we can order you d2s bulbs along with the converters so you can keep the current ballasts and wiring harness you have.

so then basically you would send a new harness that would go from the h11 ballast to the d2r bulb?

ya its got the quick connects attached so it plugs right into your ballast and screws onto the back of the bulb just like the oem set upthey look like this

AzureCoupe0888 wrote:ok now I understand all this a lot more and makes me like a lot more too!!

Would it be possible to have two angel eyes? can we do one around the projector too?? From my understanding we are only having one next to the projector right?

Ha ha, I am tryin to figure out all my options here cause I dont want to find out later there was something I could have gotten that I didnt know about.

the angel eye will be placed around the projector. the highbeam spot is a weird shape to try and fit something in there, as well i think it iwll look out of place in there and there isnt really a good mounting location for it

Yes the lights are HID, they are the factory installed bulbs and balasts. They are factory which is 4300K if I am not mistaken.

As for the difference between demon eyes and angel eyes, is, angel eyes usually are a full circle, where as demon eyes are a half circle. Thats the best way to explain it....errr.... I believe Brandon posted a picture of his buddies lancer, which he did demon eyes, you can see the halo does not go all the way around. just a smaller portion of the projector lense.

hey brandon, if we get demon or angel eyes, and we turn on the parking lights, will the demon eyes only come on, or will the parking lights and the demon eyes come on?

we can wire it up so the angel eyes come on when ever you want or hook them up to a switch.

with spocks lights we need to adjust them about a cm higher to get the light up higher for his car

Brandon has my headlights, he is creating a rig to emulate they way our lights sit on the car. Remember the bat man headlights well that was because when you sit the lights on a flat table and fire on the lights it looks like the aim is fine, and the light looks aimed, however when you put it in the car it aims the lights at the ground. I have some night shots but not of the cutoffs. The ones I do have are to help Brandon getting the headlight aiming down to a fine art. Most headlights sit flat generally ours do not they actually sit differently. So while he fixed the cutoffs, being straight the lights are pointing way down to the ground. He has my headlights at the moment and picking them up tommorrow. Hopefully then I will post pics of the nights shots and the aim fixed. So the cut offs are flat and horizontal there really isnt a bat man effect, but the lights shot right into the ground at the moment.
