Welcome to Nico and I also R jealous. I wish my old man was there to help me with my S13. After I bought it he told me would have never gotten it if he were in my shoes. Since the engine swap, front end swap, paint job and other mods it seems like my car is finally starting to grow on him and he is now starting to give me a hand and we work on both our cars together.Good luck with your swap. Its great to see you teaching him this work so young and instilling the responsibility of maintenance early on. Just be sure he can drive that thing when you guys are done.

just make sure the m/t brake boot fits nice and tight around the pedal, you'll be hating life when it starts coming loose and sh1t when you are braking

Sick build man. I wish my dad was my mentor, but then again my dad doesn't drive a porsche like you do, and if he did, I would sure as hell be in an 80's 911 not a 240sx. Alas I am a 240 owner with a mentor that drives M3's, and I still ended up with a 240 instead of a bimmer. Funny how the next gen leans away from what the mentor owns.

Time to start on the intake system. Cam took the front end off in a few minutes. He's getting pretty quick!

We had to mark the center of car and cooler and play around with how much to cut out.

Clipped off front of frame rails.

A few cuts here and there, a little duck tape and Done! Just kidding.

Cut and bend a few brackets and position where I want them.

Fits in there nice. Now off to get welded at Slowmotion.

hey a good thing to do with the MR manifold and studs is that you should use a lock type nut or just a small tack from the maifold to the nut

I have a feeling this thread is going to end with a picture of an S14 wrapped around a tree. Awesome build regardless.
