Drifting eats tires. "Cheap" tires doesn't mean crappy tires, it just means good tires for much less than the same tires of a lower profile.WidebodyZ wrote:Why do you think cheap tires makes for a good drift truck? You can't be serious about that first three words...you think I've been living under a rock? Really? Drifting eats tires...ZOMG!!! And the rest, uhm....what? Same tires of a lower profile? Am I from a different planet? Cheap tires usually means ****ty compound, poor/uneven wear, and unpredictable heat characteristics throughout the depth of the tread.sbird1 wrote:Drifting eats tires. Sorry, but I wasn't losing it or getting out of hand. I was inserting sarcasm for amusement purposes. In no sense of the word was I angered, upset, or out of control. Hahaha, seriously...perception is the key. I <3 the interweb.DJButton wrote:Well... needless that was indeed, keep the venom turned to low please, kthxbye!
I'm going to hazard a guess that the main reason no window painting is happening is mainly due to time constraints. They're trying to get this thing on the track this weekend with plenty of work yet to do...WidebodyZ wrote:And JAU663...you're the only one beating anything. Stop posting that same paragraph...if you want to call it one. Seriously..it looks like **** without anything resembling a window..it looks "cheap". By PAINING a window on it you can have the best of both acceptable worlds. It gives off a better look and doesn't interfere with the "cage". Seriously...take the criticism for what it is..it's not a personal attack AND WOULD LOOK WORLDS BETTER. Mahalo!
cold comp tests suck most of the time, but you dont need me to tell you that do you, good luck, Im sure you will work your magic.eds13 wrote:and i have a day to get this piece running. i have no fuel on cylinder #1. and 135 150 135 135 compression. and a f'd wiring harness. it dosnt look good.

Ed, looks cool buddy. I'd do like that one cat said and "paint" a back window on. It seriously looks better that way from the quick chop.

wanna trade? I wanted a CA, and ended up only finding SR's.As soon as this thing is in good enough running shape I demand some action footage!eds13 wrote:ca was the only thing avalible, i would have gone sr if there would have been time and avaliblity.
the koukis i got off some retard in GA named "B E N I F I T X "....NOT A GOOD SELLER!!!!! i had to start a paypal dispute with him to get my money. then the back sides of the housing are melted...
Really??? Why? I don't think they match the car at all. Those are older school styled wheels and everything else on the car screams newer school of thought. I think they're great as spares..but as far as "the look" it's not doing it for me at all. A different set of wheels would TOTALLY set this car off (and stance).Quail wrote:I love the wheel choice!
