when will y'all get it... NO WINDOW!!!!!! The roll cage just does not permit it. There is another horizontal bar on the inside just where the window would be... it would be through the line of vision out the back making the window totally useless. PLEASE QUIT BEATING A DEAD HORSE!!!!!

Drifting eats tires. "Cheap" tires doesn't mean crappy tires, it just means good tires for much less than the same tires of a lower profile.

You can't be serious about that first three words...you think I've been living under a rock? Really? Drifting eats tires...ZOMG!!! And the rest, uhm....what? Same tires of a lower profile? Am I from a different planet? Cheap tires usually means ****ty compound, poor/uneven wear, and unpredictable heat characteristics throughout the depth of the tread.

And JAU663...you're the only one beating anything. Stop posting that same paragraph...if you want to call it one. Seriously..it looks like **** without anything resembling a window..it looks "cheap". By PAINING a window on it you can have the best of both acceptable worlds. It gives off a better look and doesn't interfere with the "cage". Seriously...take the criticism for what it is..it's not a personal attack AND WOULD LOOK WORLDS BETTER. Mahalo!

Sorry, but I wasn't losing it or getting out of hand. I was inserting sarcasm for amusement purposes. In no sense of the word was I angered, upset, or out of control. Hahaha, seriously...perception is the key. I <3 the interweb.

I'm going to hazard a guess that the main reason no window painting is happening is mainly due to time constraints. They're trying to get this thing on the track this weekend with plenty of work yet to do...

Haha, that's more like it!

Ed, those numbers don't look so hot, but that 150 looks good. When did you do the compression test? (hot or cold) Like it was mentioned you might see significantly different numbers that could put you at ease. Don't rush the car if you feel it's not really going to happen, it may end up being a costly mistake.

Ed, looks cool buddy. I'd do like that one cat said and "paint" a back window on. It seriously looks better that way from the quick chop.
what is this drift?

any particular reason u picked the CA over...lets say an SR? great car by the ways

P.S. if u ever do make it street legal, would getting a small rear window in between the rollcage bars for rear mirror use be possible? (like the lambo countach) ~puts up flame shield~

Really??? Why? I don't think they match the car at all. Those are older school styled wheels and everything else on the car screams newer school of thought. I think they're great as spares..but as far as "the look" it's not doing it for me at all. A different set of wheels would TOTALLY set this car off (and stance).

I guess im just bored of seeing the same old 18" JDM Supa-tyte wheels on 240s (although I am in the market for 18" JDM Supa-tyte wheels to replace my tired SA3Rs, so I'm a bit of a hypocrite). Its a refreshing change to see some original wheel choices.
