why couldn't you drive it down? There are people all over I-75 driving from Canada to Florida in the summer with Canadian plates. Its not some magical situation that only teddy is in. People from Michigan and Minnesota buy cars from Canada all the time. Its not that diff from buying a car out of state. You are aloud to drive the car to its new destination with the previous plates still on it.

Dont mean to start drama teddy but people are acting like a car from canada is a HUGE deal and actually around here its fairly common. Just because its a skyline is why people are making a big deal about driving it down. If it was a ford conversion van they would be like sure go for it.

I don't know how much longer. I know as much as you know.

As for the reason for buying a 4 door... well, I guess I've always thought that 4 door drift cars were more bad@ss in a sense. They always seemed to be the louder cars, the crowd favorites, and the ones with the most power. While this won't necessarily true of mine, I still want to give the 4 door a shot. I always loved Nomuken's machine as well, so that was probably a factor.

And I'd be lying if I didn't mention A Bo Moon too.

I will stick to the RB20 for now, but eventually if I'm able to come across good money, I'd love to do a single turbo RB25 or RB26. My goal is to eventually make big smoke with this car, but for that I'll definitely need more power and bigger tires, which I won't be able to afford for a while.

Have you given any consideration to a VQ30DET? They're cheap, you can get parts at your local parts store, and they're supposedly able to put down some half-way respectable power.

No, I have not and will not give it any consideration. RB is what it will be, no ifs ands or buts.

Yeah sorry, I sold it a while ago. You can find them all day long on Zilvia.net though.

So Teddy your importing this car for race only purposes. I thought you could only import it like that for a couple of years? Then it has to be exported or destroyed

Im sure theres some loophole. Or he is planning on not registering it and keeping it in the garage until trailering it to track days.

Teddy have you driven or slid a RHD before. I had the chance to buy a 4 door R32 gts-t for a new track car and decided against it "going a different route after this season". I'm sure u have thought about it. I have driven a few RHD cars b4 i started sliding and it always felt a bit awkward. Like throwing a baseball left handed. I'm sure with enough practice and seat time that can be over come but it just seems like for me atleast that it will never be as comfortable or i will be as good.

Maybe I'm over thinking it but i was ready to pull the trigger on a R32 and decided on a different chassis to slide for next season "FD "

I've driven a right hand drive car before and LOVED it. I've never drifted one before though. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually.
