They don't screw around at the Detroit border, it's pretty intense. I had an interesting encounter there trying to go to Canada to hit up the smoke free casinos a couple of months ago.S13Teddy wrote:Mark got categorized as a terrorlst and got rejected at the Detroit border. Ask him about it. Haha!
I don't agree AT ALL.Does hype really distort peoples reality THIS much?Teddy has a stock sr in a beat up coupe, I am impressed at his motivation and heavy use of the car...but there are a handful of coupes just in San Francisco that are "sicker" than Teddy's.Kalypso wrote:... looking back,

isnt that why 85% of us got a 240 in the first place.S13Teddy wrote:Let's all just enjoy drifting.
Yep, and then there are those other 15% that got one to jump in the ring with Ali 'cause they think they can box.roadboy240sx wrote:

uhh no. id say under 20% of people with 240s drift semi seriously.roadboy240sx wrote:isnt that why 85% of us got a 240 in the first place.
calm down. i didnt mean it exactly like that, i meant that because of drifting the popularity of the cars have grown, some people have gotten a 240 cuz the seen a sweet drift built car. and wanted to make there own, or they just wanted a 240 of there own just to have. most 240s are just hardparked or the once and a while weekend track car. a very few 240 owners build there cars for just drift or just autoX and even drag and rally. im just saying that most 240s bought are bought with drifting in mind, even if they just seen one at an event and said hey that would be a neat car to have.breaker77 wrote:

Well since at the moment funds are getting pretty low and I'm focusing a lot on my career/buying lots of film equipment, it's going to be pretty basic at first. It already has a 240hp RB, a diff, and coilovers, and I have both of the seats out of my coupe. So as far as getting out to the track goes, I've got what I need. I'm pretty down to just find some 15" black mesh wheels and drift it like it is right now. Just have fun.Metal Angel wrote:So what are your plans for the skyline build? What are you going to work on first?
Yes, they give us (Mulsanne) sweet pricing on automobile parts and in return we promote their company.Metal Angel wrote:You are sponsored by dmax right? Do they give you a discount? Or what? They should give you free coils and aero.
sounds great, also, i was right, i guessed skyline. im awesome.and teddy, TE's are dope but i dont htink thats really mulsanne style...now i could be wrong but baller dish would be the right way to go thereS13Teddy wrote:When funds start growing, I will get DMAX coilovers, suspension arms and tie rods. I have my PBM subframe risers and an S13 subframe for it. Once suspension is done, BN kit, DMAX hood, trunk wing and roof wing, Ganadors, paint. Wheels will be something baller with dish, or TEs. But most likely something baller with dish.
