They don't screw around at the Detroit border, it's pretty intense. I had an interesting encounter there trying to go to Canada to hit up the smoke free casinos a couple of months ago.

Good luck getting the car here Teddy, sounds like it would have cruised right past me! I'm about 45 minutes from D-town.

I don't agree AT ALL.Does hype really distort peoples reality THIS much?Teddy has a stock sr in a beat up coupe, I am impressed at his motivation and heavy use of the car...but there are a handful of coupes just in San Francisco that are "sicker" than Teddy's.

Goddamnit people, wake the f*** up.

teddy, did you ever end up removing the dent? if so, what did you use? ive heard of placing a flat football behind the qp then pumping air into it but i dont see where i would place the ball. i was also thinking maybe a heat gun plus a toilet plunger might work.

in kalypso's defense, it was a pretty cool car.it may have been a complete s***bow BUT, hear me out on this...lets be honest, nearly everyone who frequents these sites, and thats a big chunk of the s-chassis comunity, knows this car. its been through so many changes, accidents which were just plain funny and some screwups. its had pink wheels, bigass boso pipes, a hellokitty horn button....a discoball hanging inside it with neons....while yeah thats dumb s***...it is in a way the goofy way of thought and i guess a type of drift "lifestyle"? where laughs are as important as the sport...some may view teddy's personality and more importantly his car and what it symbolizes as being that sick fun drift car, maybe not the actual nuts and bolts of the thing but what it represented.there are better looking, more capable cars out there for sure...but this car did tha damn thang with style.i hope i dont sound like a dumbass, thanks.

Thanks PJ, I agree.

It definitely wasn't some sick built D1 car, nor a pro-am car. I made a long list of mistakes and stupid moves with it, but hey, I have a lot of funny memories with it and learned a lot.

The next car will definitely not at all be the same, primarily because I've grown up a lot, and because now it's time to be a bit more competitive.

But thanks for the comments. Let's all just enjoy drifting.

Yep, and then there are those other 15% that got one to jump in the ring with Ali 'cause they think they can box.

calm down. i didnt mean it exactly like that, i meant that because of drifting the popularity of the cars have grown, some people have gotten a 240 cuz the seen a sweet drift built car. and wanted to make there own, or they just wanted a 240 of there own just to have. most 240s are just hardparked or the once and a while weekend track car. a very few 240 owners build there cars for just drift or just autoX and even drag and rally. im just saying that most 240s bought are bought with drifting in mind, even if they just seen one at an event and said hey that would be a neat car to have.

when i got my 240 i had no intentions of drifting or even thought about. i seen a green s14 in rim add in super street and i just thought it was a cool car and wanted to have one.

I bought my 240 because there were cheap and had plenty of aftermarket support. Also because I have a strong dislike for Honda, I just hated they way they sound.

So what are your plans for the skyline build? What are you going to work on first?

Well since at the moment funds are getting pretty low and I'm focusing a lot on my career/buying lots of film equipment, it's going to be pretty basic at first. It already has a 240hp RB, a diff, and coilovers, and I have both of the seats out of my coupe. So as far as getting out to the track goes, I've got what I need. I'm pretty down to just find some 15" black mesh wheels and drift it like it is right now. Just have fun.

When funds start growing, I will get DMAX coilovers, suspension arms and tie rods. I have my PBM subframe risers and an S13 subframe for it. Once suspension is done, BN kit, DMAX hood, trunk wing and roof wing, Ganadors, paint. Wheels will be something baller with dish, or TEs. But most likely something baller with dish.

I don't know. Something like that maybe.

You are sponsored by dmax right? Do they give you a discount? Or what? They should give you free coils and aero.

Yes, they give us (Mulsanne) sweet pricing on automobile parts and in return we promote their company.
