Actually it had a "sileighty" sticker on it from the previous owner.

I have those on my Sti... but their functional lol. You have no rear wing for the vortex'd air to come down to lol

They don't need a wing to be functional. At least that's the way they advertise them. Either way, I don't mind, I got them just cause I like the way they looked.

LOL

Rad update? Not a whole lot going on. Just slowly saving money for events and tires. Hopefully picking up 4 MK3 Supra wheels and 6 tires tomorrow. Yes, I know the hub bore is too small on the Supra wheels, I'll make them fit. Other than that I found out my rear caliper was leaking; so I got brand new ones.

Then I got my new helmet today. Cheapest SA2005 helmet you can buy, which is what I need.

Maybe I'll do an update tomorrow if I get those Supra wheels.

Haha marco is rocking 240 wheels for his spares, you'll be rocking mkIII wheels for yours. You should do a switcharoo so you can have matching sets.

I was about to buy that helmet, but got one heck of a deal on one at a Simpson Racing outlet store so I got that instead.

I like the shot of the new calipers, looks so thought out and professional lol.

Slight update... I've been hoarding parts... Again. This time to re-do the cooling system.
I picked up a used Mishimoto radiator with fan from MGE's old coupe.
Image

I also went up to Lancaster Nissan to see how much they wanted for a water pump, thermostat, and upper and lower rad hoses... They wanted $220 so I told them to go f*** themselves.

So I went onto Courtesy Parts and ordered the water pump and thermostat from them for MUCH less. I <3 OEM parts.
Image

I was bored one night so I decided to max the coils out... Again, haha. Now I need an alignment BADLY.
Image

I also got off my a** and put the Tomei 2 way in. It's definitely weird to get used to, but so far I'm loving it. :D
Image
Image

Don't think this car is a hardparker, though. I'll be drifting up in Drums, PA this sunday so I can actually put these to use. Top two on the right are just tires. Bottom two on the right are NA Z32 wheels and the four on the left are MKIII Supra wheels. I'll only be taking the two good Supra wheels and Z32 wheels up sunday because I doubt I'll go through any more than that, hahah.
Image

And I'll leave with some sweet pictures of my car in some 3am fog.

Dudebroman, u drift that thang? Can we hang out sometime? Where can I buy your stance? I like the look of offset wheels, I'm thinking of buying some more offset but the people at Pep Boy's didn't know what I was talking about.

P.S. This is Chris, I'm bored as crap. I'm stuck at Marco's house cause my alternator died while parked in his drivway haha.

Haha I know exactly how you feel.

BTW, update coming later today. I'm gonna be installing the rad, thermo, water pump, changing crank seal, etc.

Update:

Got the new water pump, thermostat and crank seal in today. Everything went well besides not being able to use my factory fan shroud anymore... I'll just have to use the e fan eventually because not having a fan shroud is KILLING ME. It's soooooo ugly, haha.
Image

I'll be rolling the rear fenders and beating out the front wheel wells tomorrow before work because this thing rubs a lot... Update sunday night when I get back from the event. :D

Update!

Met up with some buddies then we rolled out.
Image

We showed up a the track right on time, but they wouldn't let us in. We sat outside of the track, in the rain for 45 minutes.
Image

Went in, passed tech no problems. It was still raining, so I was able to get my confidence up.
Image

It was a small turnout, but it was a REALLY fun event. I'll be attending the next one on September 18th.

Here's a video because, well, I can't really take pictures of my car while I'm drifting it... So I'm waiting for other's pictures. I'll post them as I find them. Obviously this was in the dry, so whoever said a stock single cam KA can't drift can go f*** themselves. :)

BTW, this was my super ghetto camera mount, hahah.

Nice updates man. You're putting the right parts on for sure. Should be reliable when you beat on it now.
