It's about time I started a build thread. I've been modifying my car too slow to really do much. Now that winter is coming up, I need to prep my car for next season at Club Loose. My goal is to drive in an East Coast Bash in 2010.

I bought the car in 07 with 60k miles; automatic and I was the 3rd owner. After stupid misfortunes, I lost motivation to put anymore money into it. After meeting some local 240 owners (MrGreenEyes, White Comet, and Didderson) I gained some motivation. A couple of months later I had all of my 5 speed stuff done. Too I didn't have time to swap it so the car sat for months. After graduation I payed off my PoweredByMax coilovers and go to work.

Some fresh hardware for the 5 speed swap.

5 speed done. Shaft Masters one piece aluminum drive shaft and fresh hardware.

Now onto my winter project. Infinity J30 rear knuckles, with brakes and 5 lug. Front 5 lugs will come soon enough.

Plans for the rear includes rebuilt calipers, de-rusted (duh) and some other things.

Also, here's a mod list for anyone interested.Infinity J30 front calipers and rotors.Z31 Brake master cylinderExedy stage one clutchShaft Master's aluminum one piece driveshaftPowered By Max coiloversManual seat belts from a Subaru ImprezaB Wave 3" exhaustNismo motor and trans mounts.

Here's how the car sits now.

Plans for this winter:Kaaz/Tomei/Nismo 2 way differential. If I can't scrounge the cash together for one of those in time for the drift season, I'll just weld the diff.Freshly rebuild subframe with all new suspension arms and PBM solid risers.Front 5 lug hubs.15x8 +0 Diamond Racing Trucker series wheels with 235/50 RT-615s in the front. 16x10 +0 Diamond Racing Trucker series wheels with 255/65 RT-615s in the rear.AC/Emissions removal.Battery relocation.

I eventually plan on turboing the single cam with a simple T25 and PBM high-mount intercooler with a Nistune; but thats way down the road!

Stay tuned, but I will warn you now, I'm poor as hell, so this will be a slow build.

Sadly, it won't stay that clean. Everything but the dash and seats are getting gutted and it's getting painted gloss white. Thanks, though.

OMG DRIFT CAR!

Doug it's about time you posted up a thread.

You're silly for doing the 5lug swap... Ok maybe not, but because I don't know what wheels ur getting I'm boggled at the moment.

Good goals for the car though. I'm sure ppl will love that it holds the version 1 style of Keegan's car. Good to see u guys made it to Jeffs for an alignment and sorry my services are being put to ...mental uses atm.win

We should trade coils for a day. I wanna see how stiff PBM's with 40 series tires are.

Broadway 300mm. MrGreenEyes got it for me for my birthday.

I would recommend one. They're mostly $20 shipped.

Did you mean to put that in MGE's thread?Im confused..

Nice car OP i personally dislike pignose bumpers but your car looks nice im saving up for some PBMs myself. You said you finished paying yours off but your only 18 how did you get a loan for over 1k? Im trying to find somewhere to give me a loan but saving in the meantime ive got like 600 put away.It will look nice with your new wheels. Those coilovers arent as low as they go are they? i thought pbm's looked even lower than that.Nice car though my build is going so slow that i havent created a thread yet either. I like the mirror and shift boot. Does painting the car fit anywhere in your future plans or are you going to leave it that way?

I talked to Dan at PBM and he allowed me to make payments on my coilovers. I sent him money when I got it and when I paid them off he sent them over.

And NO they are not fully slammed. They're pretty high right now which really disappoints me. I don't have any aftermarket arms yet so my rear camber and toe are really bad in the rain so I'm being conservative for now. Hopefully lowering tomorrow or soon.

It's staying flat black for a while. I'm not too concerned about looks.
