I know it's not a member write-up with pics or anything, but Stillen has the installation instructions here:

http://www.stillen.com/product...t.pdf

Looks pretty straight-forward. Getting mine installed this upcoming weekend!

When I get it installed, I'll be there with a camera on hand taking pics of the process. I'll do a write up after wards for anyone wanting to do this install themselves

Hmm what does "New belts will need to be retightened after a couple of hundredmiles." mean? How do you "retighten them and does that mean you have to remove all that crap to get to the belt again?

That's for cars without a self-tensioning pulley system. You do not have to retighten these.. I thought those instructions were changed. Sorry for the confusion, I'll get the instructions changed ASAP.

Put them on and you're golden..

I got it installed at Stillen. I'm not sure how much of the top of my head because I got other work done to the car as well.

We always recommend installing a new belt with pulleys.. it's cheap insurance. These belts are Gates, very top quality, and you're already removing the belt, easy time to save yourself some labor on a belt change for normal maintenance. Email me if you have additional questions..

ordered weds.

arrived today.

installed sometime this week.

I would actually be pretty interested in getting it dyno'd, i googled dyno and my zip code and got this . . . anyone have any idea if this thing looks like the right machine? (isnt the car supposed to sit on top of it and work with the same idea as a treadmill?)

That's actually an engine dyno.. what you're looking for is a chassis dyno.. such as the dynojet below. Drive the car on, lift (in the case of an external vs. in-ground dyno) and put on wheels, strap it down and it will measure the actual horsepower of the car.

Search youtube for stillen dyno, there are results from some of our customer appreciation days, and other vehicles with our products, etc. Then you can see what it looks like in action.

Keep in mind I was giving a review for the Lightweight Crank Pulley (For the 2.5) not the underdrive pulley which should have completely different gains

Just installed the 3.5 underdrive pulley. The steering is only slightly noticable (stiffer) at idle. Under speed it is fine, I'm not noticing any significant difference at 40 mph.

Between the Injen intake and the pulley (both recent additions) the car definitely seems a bit quicker...good chance between the two hp has increased 10 to 20. Im definitely a fan of this mod. That old pulley is huge and heavy by comparrision to the Stillen!!

Now for the Bully Dog GT!!!!

Just got mine installed this weekend also. I can definitely feel a difference, but even more impressive was watching the speedometer. I must have went through a few gallons of gas tearing through the country roads near my parents. There's one straight-away from a stop sign that I'd be at almost exactly 100 when I passed another road sign, and now with the pulley I could get to 110 at that same sign. Maybe I had a tail wind or something too, but it definitely seems faster. Steering does seem a little less responsive at parking lot speeds, but not a huge deal. Definitely worth it!

No tail winds man...cuz I feel the same thing. The car does feel more responsive and quicker. I also did a write up in the install in case anyone out there wanted to try to do this on their own

Mine's gonna go on this coming weekend, but I was wondering if this mod also underdrives the AC compressor, in which case, could cause some inconvenience in the strong summer heat. ANy insight Kyle/Josh?

You shouldn't have any problems with this mod. Yes it under drives the AC pulley, but not by a lot. After I got it installed, I really didn't notice a difference in steering. There was definitely no lighting issues while the stereo is blasting high bass music. I would suspect that there will not be any issues with the AC either.
