Urethane CAN crack under extreme cold. Its been bad around here lately. Sorry to see that happening. Looks like your being taken care of

Mr_Coupe...Are both the upper and lower portions broken? just the upper, just the lower?

We have one sitting here for you but don't know if we should send both or just one or the other...let me know ASAP and I'll get it sent out.

Thanks for the heed of warning Mr Coupe! Well it seems like everything is intact and not broken. Should be painted by this week and I'll have it installed by next week. Can't wait!

Adidas, when you had your bumper painted, the parts in black (the grille and bottom section), Was that unpainted urethane or did you paint that black?

He left it unpainted. >
adidas2go wrote:When you buy the bumper it isn't painted at all. Its all raw black urethane. I just painted the whole bumper but taped off the grill, lower opening, and little wings on the sides. So all those "un-shiny" areas is still raw black urethane.

its just unpainted raw black urethane. Also i ran armor all cleaning wipes over the raw urethane part and it makes it look much better.

Hey Kyle, how bad does the damage have to be to have it replaced usually? I got mine in and there are 4 cracks in the top portion. I just called it in, but since its so late he said he couldnt really do anything today. There are 3 cracks on one side (one large, one medium, and one small) and one large on the other side. Large being about an inch. I should have waited for the single digit weather to go away

Well I dropped my bumper off at the shop last Tuesday (1/22). Joe the owner said that were swamped and apologized for not getting to it sooner but it's in the painting booth now, all taped and getting ready to be shot with primer. Joe said that they it will be painted and baked by tonight so it has all weekend to stand and dry. I asked him about the black part on the bumper (lower bumper and the grille) and said urethane is usually shiny so nothing has to be done on those parts, However, this bumper was already scuffed (from Stillen no doubt) thus they will be shooting a matte black finish to it. Hope they put the right amount of flex agent into the paint Can't wait to see it next week!

I'm just as excited to see your car as much as anyone. Seeing it on a lighter color is really going to help me out…. poor imagination on my part, a child of the video game generation and all. Also looking forward to the new grille insert and how it will look. The fitment is looking perfect on the kit so far. Haven't seen or read any complains on flaring ect.

Yeah, I can't wait to see it on the coupe either. It looks good on the blue stillen coupe but hot damn it's gonna look ultra sexy on the Code Red. Not sure what day they're gonna install it but it's gonna be sometime next week!

That's awesome! We at STILLEN can't wait to see it either. Red should look amazing. Please definitely forward some pics when you get it back.

We actually just had our blue Altima repainted (the first go around was a rush to have it ready for something, didn't give the painter time to finish everything). We'll be bringing it out to Oxnard tomorrow for the meet, if anyone wants to see it in person.

kyle@stillen wrote:For the Altima sedan guys, we are looking at developing it for the sedan cars as well.

It is a two piece fascia so we would probably just need to change the top piece and leave the lower alone. Basically we just need to get a car in to our design shop for a few weeks.
So do you have a car in your shop?
