bah, that still means only one in canadaadidas2go wrote:I would ask Kyle or Josh. I don't see them budging on this price considering the $50,000 of production costs involved. Also as Kyle mentioned to me Saturday. If you have to many group buys there will be 500 coupes out there that look exactly the same
Great!..I get to spend more money thus stimulating the national economy!!!Josh@Stillen wrote:Aaaactuallly.. we've reconsidered the rear end of the coupe.. definitely not a full rear fascia at this point, as we actually like the rear black inset, but do feel with the side skirts the rear may need a little something..
I say this because Kyle and I had a chance to step into the Modeling Department this morning, they've taken the rendering to another level, and really developed something that works perfectly with the lines of the Altima, and still follows the original rendering..
Pictures to come, please be patient..
Blake, thanks for your insight this weekend, it was really nice to get some enthusiast feedback on what we've been working on, and things we have in the pipe..

...and exactly how much was that?Mr_Coupe wrote:my paint job wasnt 99$ it was the same as addidas2go's
Agreed, But it still looks good...A big intercooler would fill that up nicelyTheBourneAltimatum wrote:i think you should put mesh on the bottom part...it kind of makes it ugly to see all the parts under. but other than good job
No,...I'm not completely concerned about the winter. if it's not this winter, it'll be next winter so it's like taxes...you can pay it now or pay it later...either way, your gonna pay. Not sure how it's suppose to be assembled but it looks correct to me.Robs_altima wrote:So you're not all concerned about winters and messing up the bumper? I'm not afraid of the urethane cracking as much as I am the stability of the lower part of the two bumpers. Correct me if I'm wrong but is there use of tap in the kit to support the lower bumper to the top???
I agree with other folks.. while I really like they way your car looks with the bumper installed, almost everyone in the paint business knows that MAACO cuts corners when doing paint jobs... I don't know if its the prep process or what, but even when comparing their so called top of the line paint material, the way they do the paint gets bad press from everyone in the business...evreyone! I know they offer three types of quality, the lower two one shouldn't even consider, but even their top service is suspect... give it a couple of months, and you'll see what I mean. I don't know if its that they don't add enough clear coats or what, but I've had three diffeent MAACO experiences, on two different cars, and all three times the end result, in the long run, was subpar.Mr_Coupe wrote:mine was a little more it was 400 for everything 1. its a small piece 2. macco has different levels of paint u can get the cheap crap or the high quality but they paint uthrane a specific way 2 exactly match the car i dont know how u guys figure macco 2 be bad when u paint a car over u have 2 specify what kind of paint u want high quality or low quality
NICE!dangeris wrote:Well it's crappy out side, snowing, sleeting, raining, but I decided to takes pics of the coupe with the new bumper. Like I said, the color is a tad bit off but they will be repainting it.
Looking at it closely though, there is an issue...I think. Looking at where the hood meets the new fascia, there is a rubber gasket that seals the gap. It's sealing at the end but it's not in the middle. Blake or Mr_Coupe, do you guys have this problem also?...gap between the hood and the fascia? I know this is gonna drive me crazy!! See Pic Below:
