I would ask Kyle or Josh. I don't see them budging on this price considering the $50,000 of production costs involved. Also as Kyle mentioned to me Saturday. If you have to many group buys there will be 500 coupes out there that look exactly the same

According to Kyle and Josh Saturday. The rockers will be available in 3-4 weeks and will require you to swap out the old rockers. No bad bolt over designs. There is no rear bumper mod in the works. The grill inserts are also in the works but, don't have an estimated production date.

Aaaactuallly.. we've reconsidered the rear end of the coupe.. definitely not a full rear fascia at this point, as we actually like the rear black inset, but do feel with the side skirts the rear may need a little something..

I say this because Kyle and I had a chance to step into the Modeling Department this morning, they've taken the rendering to another level, and really developed something that works perfectly with the lines of the Altima, and still follows the original rendering..

Pictures to come, please be patient..

Blake, thanks for your insight this weekend, it was really nice to get some enthusiast feedback on what we've been working on, and things we have in the pipe..

Yeah in the A/C the grille is completely integrated into the bumper... All of the aftermarket grilles that we see now just sit on top of the stock grille for that reason.

Great looking Stillen bumper though!

On a side note, what do you guys think of these lip-spoilers? I think one would look great with a lowered A/C.

I've seen some crazy show cars that were painted by MAACO's.. obviously if you're going in for pure price, you're going to get what you get.

More often than not, the prep work makes or breaks a paint job. The less $$$, the less prep, so you get what you get.

If they are taking their time (and obviously this matters of the talent of the people at ANY location), this type of paint/install is a no brainer, including taping off areas, etc.

So you actually did get your car painted at Macco's. My bad! I thought you were just joking around is all. I'm not saying anything about your paint job because it does look great from the pics AND I have to agree with you regarding your statement of specifying your paint. I would suspect that holds true for ANY paint/body shops. You get what you paid for.

None the less, your F'in AC looks sweet with the stillen bumper. Mine is getting installed Tuesday. (cough cough) I'm startin' to feel ill. Looks like I'll be taking a sick day on Tuesday

Agreed, But it still looks good...A big intercooler would fill that up nicely

Well, I dropped it off today and walked through a blizzard to get to the shop to pick it up. I have to say that it looks awesome but the code red that was mixed didn't match the paint exactly. It's off just a bit. They said they would re-shoot it but they will need the car for a couple of days to do it. Luckily for me, I'm leaving for a well deserved vacation next week so I'm gonna drop it back off then. Hopefully it'll look better than it does now. Right now, the car is covered with snow.

So you're not all concerned about winters and messing up the bumper? I'm not afraid of the urethane cracking as much as I am the stability of the lower part of the two bumpers. Correct me if I'm wrong but is there use of tap in the kit to support the lower bumper to the top???

No,...I'm not completely concerned about the winter. if it's not this winter, it'll be next winter so it's like taxes...you can pay it now or pay it later...either way, your gonna pay. Not sure how it's suppose to be assembled but it looks correct to me.

I agree with other folks.. while I really like they way your car looks with the bumper installed, almost everyone in the paint business knows that MAACO cuts corners when doing paint jobs... I don't know if its the prep process or what, but even when comparing their so called top of the line paint material, the way they do the paint gets bad press from everyone in the business...evreyone! I know they offer three types of quality, the lower two one shouldn't even consider, but even their top service is suspect... give it a couple of months, and you'll see what I mean. I don't know if its that they don't add enough clear coats or what, but I've had three diffeent MAACO experiences, on two different cars, and all three times the end result, in the long run, was subpar.

Again, not trying to down your choice, but MAACO is NOT the way to go for quality paint jobs!!!

Yes the lower middle half of the bumper does connect to the top by double sided tape. It might sound cheap, but its almost impossible to take off if seated right. When Stillen took off their rear bumper of thier 350z that was held on by this tape it ripped off the paint around the area it was attached too

Hey Blake, did you have to get longer pins when you installed your bumper? The guy who installed mine said they used different (longer) pins as the new bumper was thicker than the OEM. They also said they had to cut a little bit off of the front rail to fit it as well as taking off those plastic fingers and styrofoam, which I already knew he had to.

No i kept the same pins throughout the fascia. It was just kinda hard to push the ones along the top in. We didn't have to cut any part of the front rail. This is why i do my own installs...no one is going to care more about your car than you.

Well it's crappy out side, snowing, sleeting, raining, but I decided to takes pics of the coupe with the new bumper. Like I said, the color is a tad bit off but they will be repainting it.

Looking at it closely though, there is an issue...I think. Looking at where the hood meets the new fascia, there is a rubber gasket that seals the gap. It's sealing at the end but it's not in the middle. Blake or Mr_Coupe, do you guys have this problem also?...gap between the hood and the fascia? I know this is gonna drive me crazy!! See Pic Below:

Looks great dangeris, I'm just worried about that gappage. Hopefully we can hear from adidas2go or some of the others with the bumper...
