PS... how do you guys do it. i mean i got s15 turbo boosting at 13.5 psi and i still hit 13's ??? how do you guys hit 12's with t25 trubo at 14 psi and i only hit 13's ????

is it because of my 18" rims ? i got vlsd. blitz fmic, safc, blitz sbci-d, hks ssq bov, straight exhaust pipe 3", 300zx mafs, and 255 lph feul pump.

sil80 power

fmic, custom 3" downpipe/exhaust, blitz ecu, nismo clutch, air filter. that's it @12psi on a manual boost controller falling back to 10psi.

you guys have much better tires then i did. i had 195/60/15 all season firestone firehawks m+s and was running open diff, chirping every gear. i dumped the clutch at 2800 and lowered rear tire pressure to about 22psi. very crappy non-prepped track. i took it to norwalk about a month ago but only got in one run and it was 13.7@105 with a 2.3 60'.

well i sold that car... my other one should be done in a couple days. hoping to trap 110+ due to having a flywheel, header and a greddy profec b spec 2 @ 14psi with better tires i've got. i'll report back in a couple weeks after breakin is done and i've got the ebc.

No traction sux. A dude was at the track with a 427 Twin Turbo Zo6 (lingenfelter) corvette (mid/high 9 second car) he was running 12.0@127mph 11.8@133mph 13.1@124mph

Good times for shifting out of first and second at 3k ;) haha.. My dream car.. ahhhh

AWD isnt the end-all of traction people make it out to be. Running my 245/50R16 Nitto NT555Rs I have yet to be beaten off the line by any AWD car. I'm only getting 1.8-1.9 60fts. Yes, AWD CAN be fast off the line, but what self respecting AWD owner with a 20-40k car is willing to do that much damage to their drivetrain? AWD trannies don't last long, it's common knowledge, if you want it to last you don't launch it hard.

Wait a minute. You have all this traction and can't launch your car hard or it'll break? Ghey!

I cut a 1.4 60 ft time on drag slicks in a stock bodied S13.

I went 13.01 at 105.5 on drag radials with a 1.84 60 ft. Stock turbo running 14.7psi.

On 22" slicks I went 13.04 with a 1.448 60 ft. The reason I didn't run 12s was because the top speed limiter cut me off about 100ft before the end of the 1/4. Here are my timslips.

Mods are listed here.

f150.. what do you think you'd do on regular street tires? also you may have hit speed cut on your dr run too. your mph is faster than your slick run where you said you hit limiter.

and 240SXer... how many psi were you running on the gt25? f150 ran almost a half sec better with his stock turbo and dr's. something doesn't seem right. you should be trapping 110+ and running mid 12s (at the very least). even if you were running about 14psi you should be in the 12s.

I'm not sure. I never wasted my time running regular tires at the track.. I bought a second set of stock alloys and mounted the bfgoodrich g-force drag radials. I run those on the street when I'm looking for trouble.

I would probably run a 13.5-13.8 on normal street tires, maybe. I cut a 1.79 on my drag radials last time at the track. the 1.84 was the first time at the new track with drag radials. When running with slicks i averaged 1.706 60 ft time. That was out of 6 runs.

Most average drivers will not be able to get a 13.0 or a 12 out of the stock turbo. It takes alot of practice. I have over 40 passes on the car.

Did pretty good my first time to the track. My last run was the best. was running 14.1 the whole night with 11lbs but raised it up for the last run.t25,smic,turbo back 3",93 octane, walbro 255, mbc, falken ziex 512 @ 32 psi, open diff and ksport coilovers. boosted at 14-15psi, saw it coming down to 14 so im not real sure. ran about 9 times. best time i got:

Last Run: R/T .184 60' 2.3211/4 13.783MPH 105.93

My alignmnet isn't perfect btw and I know if I improved my 60' it would of been a lot faster.

13.41 @ 105 mph, 2.27 60ft. That was about a year ago, when i had about 40hp less. Hopefully I'll break into the 12s, with the stock T28 turbo! Cos since then I have added a Blitz FMIC, Bosch 040 pump, 3psi more boost, Equal length turbo manifold and better tyres!! Btw I have an S14 Silvia (In Australia hehe)

11's have been acheived by hitting 21psi on a stock "looking" turbo in GSX's

i myself have run a 13.564@104 with the following mods:

Red TopHPI FMIC3 inch turbo back exhaust (GP Sports Spec D)stock turbo at 15psi

and a couple of other minor things that i dont feel like listing

btw, stock diff, bald *** 205 tires as well got me a 2.0 60'
