straight lines are for fast cars--curves are for fast drivers--just though id share that cool quote--cante remember where i heard it.Drag Isnt particularly hard. If you have big power--run slicks. Dont dump the clutch if you have alot of lag--or youll fall on your face, and have a bad 60 ft. Slip the clutch out of the whole so you build boost off the line, and shift quick. Power shift the last gear before you hit the line and stay in it. Keeping the car form spinning off the line isnt about driving skillz--its about having tires that hook. the only skills you have are to launch good--once past that, then all you can do is screw up by shifting like crap.
I prefer a course. More factors in pushing the car and the drivers abilities to be able to acheive a great time(lap). Brkaing, apexing, entry angle, speed, braking distance, power, steering, coutner steering, turn in, etc etc. There are about 50 things you have to do--not to mention, be able to change them up in a split sec if you are running with another driver who may have pushed you out of your line. With curves--it REALLY IS about the driver. Just make sure the screw between the steering wheel and the headrest is nice and tight
