Well I just got the tires mounted this morning. I still need to lower it a little more and put on the 8mm spacer in the rear.

17x9 +35 with 25 mm in the front with 235/40/17

honestly, the pictures make me glad i didnt pick them up. im not a huge fan of how they poke out too much in the front, but not in the back. gonna need to address that.

I want to see the black with red lip 006's on a black 240sx. I think it could look good but the 002 are the best in there line up IMO

I like them. I think they'd "look" better with staggered lips, but that's just me. Not bad for someone looking for some cheap wheels.

For what reason do they suck? Do you have any substance to back that up or are you just failing to stir the pot again?

What is the staggered lip? Is it the thing with the lip on those 5 spoke sport maxes, where the lip like sticks out on the side through the tire or whatevs?

Sorry, for the confusion.

I mean more lip on the rear wheels than the fronts. You'd have to have different sizes or at least offsets (not by using spacers) to accomplish that.

Sorry they're affordable?

They're alright, I think they looked decent in the pic with the gunmetal on the gray/silver. But the issue with the lips is a bit annoying.

I still dont know what staggered means. All i know is that i think those 5 spoke sportmaxes look fugly, because of how the wheel sticks out of the tire on the lip. Cant really explain it.

See?

yokota hates sportmax wheels because more often than not they are cheaply-made and heavy. he lives in japan and doesnt have to settle for knockoffs like the non-baller status individuals here who cant wait and save for a decent set of wheels.

i also think he takes offense to the fact that they seem to pay little mind to the sizes and offsets offered and instead focus on copying other manufacturer's popular designs or coming up with their own bland styles.

thats just my interpretation of his comments tho, i could be off.

Ill agree with the fact that almost half my posts are probably in either general chat or the KA-T thread, and i have been posting a lot recently, but i dont get what your point is.

Are you trying to say that because i dont know what the term "staggered" means, and i gave a lazy description this one particular time, that all a sudden makes me sombody who doesnt know sh*t, and im a retard now?

Your interpretation seems legit.

But seriously, if this is the case, sorry I'm not rollin in flow. I've got to work my *** off for what I want, and Sportmax is the best way to go, considering they're the most affordable.

Imitation? Who gives a ****. I don't...I'm not willing to, at the moment, put 1-2 grand into a set of wheels, when I could get something that looks just as good (IMO) for less.
