I might get these soon.

Is there any fitment issues in the rear on stock-ish suspension?

I think I might need a 5mm in the front(8inch) (9inch rear)

The rear you should be fine and yes you might need a 5mm spacer in the front.

For those of you with 18x8.5"; can you please take a pic of the lip with a ruler held across it? I want to see what the size of the lip is. I currently have the 7.5" in the front and 9.5" in the rear. On the website it states that the 7.5" has a 2.5" lip and the 9.5" has a 3.5" lip. However, when I put a ruler to them, they were .5" shorter, meaning the other 1/2" in the point where the lip is curved. With that said, the 8.5" should have a lip measuring 1.5", in which case I will sale/trade my 7.5"ers and get a pair of 8.5"ers.

Thanks in advance!

Ur right on target, I just measured them (can't put up the pic yet, I'm at work), and it's 1.5 until the curve and +0.5" with it, so total lip of the 8.5 is 2", of which 0.5" is the curved part. I'll post a pic later tonight, along with some brake shots and how even 17s(!) can fit the 13" Cobra brake conversion.Which is not surprising, as 16" 300Zx wheels acoomodated the VR4 rotor...

and phone number of maternal parent, please, if you could.

lol

from what i can tell, both his tires are stretched, so you'd have to figure what looks stretched on a 8" and 9" rim? probably 215 or smalle rin fron amd 225 or smaller in back.he's lowered, but since my pix show that the only reason I was having issues in the front was due to 8.5" width(otherwise they would clear no problems) you can assume either coils or springs would work.Offset is more of a guessing game, but I believe they really come in only one offset for our cars, specific to each rim width.

Having said that - yeah sure, let's hear what the actual figures are =]

I run 225 and 235 on 8.5" and 9.5", respectively. This has a (desired for me) stretched look. You will achieve the same look with 215 and 225 on 8" and 9". I'm running what I am for both aesthetic and fitment.

well i just got off the phone with the guys at city tire online and he said i can run the 205 on the 8 and 215 on the 9 that will give me a nice stretch fit, being that i already have the 205's and 215's at my house i will run those don't really feel like buying new tires.

yeh i run 205's on a 7" and its kinda bulgy, so on an 8" it should be decently stretched.215 on a 9 tho may be a little too jdm for me... i run 235 on 9.5" and they are stretched good. Now you're talkin .5" less width on the rim, but a whole 20mm (.8inches) less tire width.... heh should have NO clearance problems on that one =]

Everyone's entitled to their opinion.I'd love it if people who give theirs could justify it either with 1) aesthetic preference or2) actual problems one runs into when using a product. This is especially the case with wheels.

Now I'll speculate here, but maybe Yokota doesn't have love for them because the recent availability and demand of cheap good looking (consensus of this thread aside from him and BAY_S14_KOUKI) rims had an impact on his ability to sell JDM rims to the US.Who knows.

What's your reason, BAY_S14? Increasing post count?

So with this setup you don't have any rubbing issues? You have S13? is it lowered?

Do you think the same setup will work for me if I have tein S tech with GR2 struts (no coilover)?
