Southern Accents

Well Mike(240kid) and I are having a little debate. I say that southern accents are so hot on girls and he says they're not hot at all. So we decided on a poll to see what you guys think. And Mike, you can't post dam* it. :pface

Mine is I met a girl from Oklahoma and omg, I loved hearing her talk. It turned me on so much.Are southern accents hot??

Sorry, but it just isn't appealing to me. It just reminds me that, while being hot, they could be having sex with their cousin. To me, the Southern accent sounds to much like broken English, thus making the girl sound a bit slow...

I live in PTC too, it drives me NUTS! I'm at Starr's Mill, so we have the Brooks people and I want to kill! A really light southern accent isn't a big deal, but the thick ones kill me. Both my parents were born and/or raised in Texas and they don't have an accent either, so why should anyone else? It's honestly just being lazy with your syllables. My best friend has a bit of one, but he still enunciates, he's never hard to understand, it's the people with one that are hard to understand that piss me off. It's not that hard to speak with an intelligible tone. I honestly don't like most accents, except for light French or Italian ones, at least on chicks. British dudes are cool though... but that's a different issue.

Jeez I need to get out of the south...

i've heard a french accent once.no words can describe it.once you hear it you'll love it.spanish is second on my list. but NY>GA...

I used to date a girl from GA. I speak like i have a northern accent, so she made fun of the way I say O and I, instead of Ooh, and Ah.

My old g/f, the Filipino/Chinese girl, she took 4 yrs of French in HS. She would talk dirty in French and it was hot. She'd wisper French words of love to me in the mornings... words I had no understanding of, and it was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Southern accents are nasty, and remind me of NASCAR and all the evil that goes along with it.

I've taken three years of French and can say that it works wonders on wooing the ladies. I could say "I've got a peanut butter sandwich in my crotch." and they would still think it was beautiful...

French is nice to hear, and it does indeed woo the ladies... though a little Spanish works too (particularly when you say the same thing, just two different languages, mwahahaha)... Italian is the **** though... oh wow... my exgf was semi-fluent in Italian... I didn't have the faintest idea what she was saying, but I honestly didn't care, at all.

Hmm... my next project hasn't heard me whip out the French yet

...

Don't like a southern accent on a loud, boisterous chick.

I was born and raised in the deep south, Mom is southern, so I miss hearing it sometimes....

Maybe that's my problem, all the southern chicks I know are loud as crap and generally annoying (and fat, and they don't realize they're fat... which is miserable to have to look at)...

My god, all people from Bawston (read: Boston), and New Yoooahk (read: New York) have the absolute most ANNOYING accents of ANYONE.

My cousin lives in Andover, MA and I go nuts when I'm up there.

I gotta have me a southern belle

No backwaters west Texas accent though... I'm talkin a smooth Georgian accent.
