My thoughts exactly, Zero.
Having lived here for nearly 17 years, "y'all" has crept into my vocabulary oh so slightly... I only use it in rare circumstances when I'm feeling really lazy and thus don't want to go to the trouble of saying "you guys."
The "like" thing bugs me too... but I find myself using the word "like" in that way from time to time too, usually in spurts, and it bugs me.
Rousie, come on down to tha dirty souf and we'll show you the whole (bad) package of southern... it hurts...
