*******MODS CAN YOU MOVE THIS TO RWD SR20 PLEASE************After months of carefull consideration and weighing out my options I have decided to replace my tired KA with a SR20det. This is going to be my first build with a turbo motor and with the knowledge I have gained in this forum I am confident this will be a success! This thread is basically going to be my ask all/ show all build thread.....any comments or suggestions along the way will be appreciated When I originally started this thread in General Chat I knew it was going to be boosted with a subtle kit, and so it began like this....... My headlights are wired all F***ed up and I was looking for a simple conversion, so I ordered the Halo conversion ](IAM NOT INSTALLING THESE) they are going to be used in conjunction with raceon buckets, I then ordered the M1 sport body kit and 180sx kouki bumper lights to complete the kit.

Pics are kinda difficult right now im in IRAQ and my car is in Maine...get them up as soon as i can.. just updating progress and generating a whole room of goodies for when i get home (providing i don't p**s off the wife and find'em on e-bay)

It is nice and quiet, although the cops follow me where ever i go...When they pull me over I pull out my Military I.D and they give some B.S. excuse why they pulled me over...The last one was because there were recent criminal activity in the area I'm like WTF! Other than that it is nice.

Stuff starting to come in my wife is e-mailing me asking where to put all the stuff...IDK? Guess she is gonna be cramped in our apartment with 2 dogs Im lucky she puts up with me as a matter of fact her support is what is allowing me to do this! and I know........

Alright so i talked to my Info Techs out here and there isn't a way for me to post pics successfully,....sorry guess you all are going to have to wait....my wife did just send me an e-mail with pics of my Aero took a little bit to get in but it was worth it..poor women is drowning in parts.

I NEED YOUR OPINION I have ordered everything needed with the exception of the engine, only because I am now in Sicily and i really want to be there when it comes in. My question is has anybody dealt with ZLautolabs? They are one of our sponsors and now my #1 choice for my project. I have purchased all my enging parts through our sponsors and don't want to stop there. I try to give back as much as possible

bump Ok just saw the most disgusting motorset come out of ZL and it sounds like an all out bad idea to go through them. Has any body used naganojapanese.com for an engine. I would use heavy throttle but 2500 is not in my budget for a red top I need a reliable engine dealer any suggestions all my searching winds up with a fail or an extremely expensive used engine. 1800 to my door is the max I will pay for a red top

Here's what I see as an issue. Your 60mm catback exhaust. Do you realize that is only about 2.35" diameter? That's pretty small for all the things you have planned for this car. Your best bet is to go with at least a 76mm-80mm exhaust (2.99"-3.14").

Also, do you still want this moved to 240gen? If so, shoot me an AIM and I'll send it over there. AIM is same as NICO name.

Yeah, I got the 60mm before i decided to do this project. I only plan on using it for a very short time. Sucks cause it's only a year old and looks bone stock so cops don't mess with me Oh yeah still need it moved, I can't however AIM anyone there are certain restrictions on the computers that are available to me.

Must be nice! Everywhere I've been the police likes to set up check points by the main gate entrance to bust out soldiers. If it's not civilian police then it's military police.

It'll be like Christmas when you get home though. I wish I could refer an engine import company to you, but I got mine locally.

Ok thanks to the guidance of NICO and my own better Judgement I contacted Jeff from Heavythrottle.com and worked a pretty good deal with them on a S13 blacktop. I have to tell you guys they are probably the most customer oriented supplier you will deal with and are always willing to help anyway they can . I will be placing my order in about 2 weeks hopefully, I will let you guys know how it turns out
