Thankyou fortunately I got selected to go to Sicily for my last 2 months..I did 4 flights over Baghdad and spent most of my time in Qatar. I'm a maintainer not a warrior, so basically I keep our aircraft in the air so our warriors get to see there families again. As far as the Engine price goes I shouldn't really say...it is less than advertised, more than some other suppliers go, but if you have done any reading on this site almost all other places with the exception of our sponsors have done bad by one or more members. I wanted to pay less but other peoples quality and customer service suck..read our most recent classifieds for a few examples when you deal with lower priced competitors...I can guarantee you won't find that with any reputable shop including heavythrottle.

Ok so i got an e-mail today about my seats, my money had been refunded because they were on back order and the company wasn't sure when they were going to be back in stock so i started to visit some of the recomended sites I have heard about and found a set of JDM buckets for sale out of a 97 silvia and they were CHEAP! I purchased them w/out a second thought 0nly $160 plus shipping and they match the interior almost perfectly. I AM VERY HAPPY!

So I opened my e-mail today, and in my inbox was some attachments from Jeff over at Heavythrottle... Without me requesting anything they sent pictures of there packaging and compresion tests of some of there engines. These guys are seriously on point. I couldn't get other suppliers to even send this info when I requested it. +1 for these guys and there approach to customer satisfaction.

I should be back the 1st of june. My car isn't very cruisable at the moment, but I will take her out for a bit. She has been my D.D for the last year and got over 30K put on her (250K ) she has been burning oil according to my wife. There are a couple Mainers on this site and I was thinking about a 240 cruise night to O.O.B or Hampton. Hit you up when I ghet home.

Thankyou.. She is very motivated when it comes to the 240. She is always asking if she can start on the bodywork I mean i trust her and all, but I think the seats are as far as she will be allowed to go untill i get home I had her help eith the fibre glassing of the rear bumper when it was originally broke, and she took out my non working A/c with me too, but she almost dropped the compressor on my face cause she didn't know how heavy it was I love teaching her little things it makes her feel like a part in the project

I'm in the aviation side of the NAVY. I can't wait to get the kit on it looks so clean on that coupe I wanted to get rid of the pig nose, every 240 I have owned has been one, and I can't say I like that style at all. This will be the first one to get a kit and a sr...I can' f'n wait to get home Good luck on your deployment. Oh yeah the color is going to be a mineral grey/ black 2 tone. The black is going to follow the top body line going no lower then the glass, and wrapping all the way around from trunk to the tip of the headlights. The engine/ bay will follow the same scheme with some polished accents. Like this...

Ok quick question for the SR guru's. I just purchased a Q45 igniter chip with pig tails because my motorset doesn't include the factor igniter. Is the Q45 a direct replacement or am i going to have to splice into my SR harness?

You need to splice it, its not hard at all. Just follow the heavy throttle diagram. I did this on mine, it was really straight forward.

Alright so my factory hood has a crease in it and doesn't sit flush. With the turbo engine any extra cooling has got to be good, especially in traffic situations where my car will be driven the most. I have seen alot of the hood spacer b.s and I just don't like it so I decided to put just a little rice on my car...it's not C.F and it will be painted tell me what you think.

It is from an east coast company, with a fair price $200 + shipping I will let you guys know how fitment is when it comes in

Recent updateSo I got 9 days and a wake up till I am back in the states then the fun begins. I recently finished ordering everything needed to get her up and running, plus the paint, my new HVLP gun, orbital sander, drill & sawzall combo, and my hoist Durring this time I learned 2 important lessons...1)Never sell your tools...you will need them some day2)Pay pal e-checks suck they took almost 3 weeks to pay for my engine and were holding my money hostage for 2 weeks.

I also ordered the S13 to S13 wiring and swap video and printed out all the info that pertained to this swap, so I can save you guys from answering a bunch of question and keep the search bar from overloading. Thats it for now, on the 4th of june I will post pics and start the build. Thank you NICO for your guidance,

UPS scheduled the drop off for my engine. It will be at my door on the 3rd, the same day I get home. My buying experience was a little bit of a pain though. The place where I got my engine from forgot to give me a tracking number, so my engine was actually in Maine on the 23rd, 2 days after I paid for it, and they had been trying to contact me. So when I finally got the tracking I asked when they were dropping it off, they then said that I was responsible for pick-up! UPS was not paid buy my supplier for liftgate service, which is weird because I paid the extra $50 for the service to my supplier. So I swallowed my pride and told UPS I would pay for the service, that way I don't have to go pick it up. They charged me $125 to travel an extra 25 minutes and drop the motor at the end of my driveway....freaking UPS hustled me!

HELP IM STUCK I installed my sr the other day. It is a very clean S13 blacktop, it came with a new harness, and the install went real easy. Then I went to start it, I can hear the fuel injectors clicking and my pump running, so I got fuel. The engine turns over real easy, but I had no spark. I opened up my E5 ecu and saw no visible signs of damage to the circuits. Next I checked my wiring, I noticed that I forgot to connect the large blue/red wire to my main harness power black/red. I soldered the wires together, now I have spark only in my front and back cyliders, the middle coils are not firing. The car doesn't sound like it is firing the cylinders that are recieving spark either, so I removed all of the coilpacks and tested them on the working cylinders, they all had strong spark, coils are good. I then tested my coil harness with the ignition on and got 11.98 volts on all 4 connectors and 5.7 ohms resistance with no irregular voltage drop. I am using a Z32 ignitor chip, is it possible for a ignitor chip to only work for two cylinders? All of my harness was soldered and shrink wrapped and double and tripple checked, all other electronics work in my car. All of my grounds are new and connected. Please NICO help me, I would like to get the car running in the next couple weeks

yup got it fixed, Z32 ignitior was wired funny by yours truly I got a new issue, my injectors are clicking but only one is showing a spray pattern. Basically my car only runs when i use ether. My wiring is 100% and my walbro pump is working fine. Any one have a clue what could cause my injectors not to spray when they are firing? Any ideas how to clean them

Brand new NISMO FPR set at 43psi, it now starts then stalls immediatelly, I also get no response from my throttle, it just stalls instantly. I have reset the timing, CAS and they are good. I replaced the following items, intake gaskets and cleaned my IAACV, replaced all vacume lines, re torqued all FMIC pipes. replaced 2 injectors, all injector o-rings, my fuel pump sending unit, got a new MAF from a SOHC, all new fuel lines and filter, complete tune-up. Tested all wiring to TPS, tested my TPS with the following results: 5.12 fully closed, 4.7 partially closed, and 1.72 wide open isn't that backwards? I ordered a new TPS just in case. All my injectors fire a great pattern, I have spark across the boards and the car runs, idles great off of ether or for the first 2-5 seconds before it stalls. I have been in the FSM for 2weeks and am now about to say i am frustrated beyond imagination:bash And to make it worse Jeff at Heavy Throttle says I have a newer black top E5 ecu that don't come with a light for checking codes Any and all help is appreciated.

I'm retarded...

backwards fuel lines were my issue Any-who this car f-ing mooooves Unfortunately even though my turbo had no shaft play it had bad seals and needs a rebuild or replacement cause after putting 500 miles on it my turbo pooped out on me I noticed white smoke comming from the turbo area immediately after start up, and figured it would go away, which it did. I drove the car and noticed oil comming out of my blow off valve when it released pressure and my intercooler pipe was NASTY The symptoms persisted, but wasn't causing any driveability issues untill today. I'm doing the speed limit and this Douche in a saturn will not get off my A@@ so I shift to third get on it and see an ominous black cloud out my exhaust. I get to the light and my car had stalled durring brakeing. I start it back up, which was a little difficult, it now idles rough. I drive to work noticeing a major power loss and minimal boost capability, it just isn't working. I pop my hood and notice oil comming out of my air filter. anyways no boost for now which sucks hopefully i can fix it soon.
