ok next meet. well nothing's been planned officially. i kno school is startin up soon for every1 and all. but wth. we all need to have some major thing happen before or 1-2 weeks into school so it will be a major kick off before **** happens.

those who want to go to the next meet start making a list. and i need to kno whose able to to go for . most likely a saturday. im thinkin end of august around the 28th or 29th(sunday). or we can go into september( not a big deal really, but it really is upon every1s preference). every's schedule prob is hectic rite now. so lets start posting who will go. i guess i can start the thread and moderate that shiet so things will go well. UNLIKE ALLEN who didnt show up. lol. but anyway. last meet was fun i must say. except the 20 lbs of left over bbq but anyway. EVERYONE LET ME KNO WHATS UP. either pm me on NICO. so best yet just email [email protected]

I'll be there, but not if it's the last weekend of August, I'm going up home that weekend. Any time before or after that I'm good.

Just a reminder, that is the weekend of the 240sx convention in Vegas. Maybe more of a suggestion than a reminder?

i wasnt planning on going to vegas... my car is leaking coolant here and there....i dont think it can make it there

yeah i have received like msgs that have told me taht that weekend is not good. im thinkin september now. cuz if we do any earlier itll be just too early.

Plus, a little cruise through Azusa canyon is always nice too.

It was on west coast last time, why not east this time? I guess most of us are on west....? Also, labor day sounds like a good day to do it, its next month and most people wont be working. Or maybe sometime during the weekend, could use labor day to drive back home?

Although, we wont be having the meet on the East coast seeing as how this is a socal meet, Labor day does sound like a pretty good idea, although alot of people may be on vacation that weekend. Of course, if you feel like driving all the way out here, you are still welcome at our meets smokin240, but this isn't some nat. convention or anything, just an afternoon bbq and hangout.

Do we even have a location yet?

Here's a STUPID idea... can we plan for something over our collective winter breaks? I know a lot of people have family plans over the holidays, but it would be MUCH easier for guys who go to school and work weekends to meet then. During the school year, we all are preoccupied with the school-work cycle.

Just my $.02

EDIT: Who here is going to D1 this weekend? I am, and if anyone else is going, let's meet up there.

Does anyone WANT to go? Check out D1GP.com for details on the event (D1 Driver Search, Rd 2), and remember that you'll know at least two others who are going. Pre-sale tickets are $10. Hard to beat that.

my car was leaking coolant, too.

turns out the lower radiator hose was cracking (from age? heat? *shrugs*)

a set of power enterprise hoses later, i'm all good

I'm down, really depends on the date though. I'm sure when I will get my car back from phase2 yet. If I have my car count me and my wife in. Also depends on where, as long as it's not 2 hours away. Keep us all posted, this is a great idea. Once a month BBQ would be great for the 240 community here in SoCal.
