So Cal 240sx hangout/meet #2 - no club -

Just to let you all know, a lot of 240s meet on Tuesdays hear by West Covina in Walnut. The meet organizers call it TAB (take a Break) tuesday. It's on the corner of Grand and Valley at the Starbucks there. It's mostly HIN crowd type people, but a lot of FR and especially 240s have been showing up lately and usually go up for a touge run after the meet. The meet usually starts at 7 and ends whenever. Not to threadjack, but just letting you guys know a 240 meet already exists, it just ain't advertised and all the 240 guys would love to have more 240 drivers join.

I don't ever venture out to puente hills mall anymore with my car..

too many cops target 240's around that area..

and they know what a SR looks like!!!

does anyone go out to D1? that would be interesting meeting like the night before, chillin at a hotel then heading up there. I know of 3 dates comming up Nov 6th, December 11th, and December 19th. I know im going to the 19th because its the US VS. JAPAN.Just throwing something out there.

The TAB meet has cops around, but they don't bother unless you do somethign stupid. Its pretty safe.

Seriously. Maybe we should choose another location. That's why parks work so well, cops don't mess with you there cause you're just chillin and bbqing like everyone else. I'm for the most part stock, but I have my reasons to not want to be around cops right now.

okay i screwd up on the date i meant the 9th. and the reason why 240s get pulled over is when every1 heads on over to Rotora. most 240s get pulled over there. If not another great spot to meet would be Life Plaza. theres always a rear lot area we can use if we arrive early enough. Its next to Arcade Infinity if anyone's been there. regardless itd be nice to catch dinner together then meet up. Anand. im not really worried about being hassled if we are using a parking lot because my uncle owns that area of the mall next to Ethan Allen and across from Costco. if we need to. We can do it Pomona where we can get a wherehouse all to ourselves. but that we need a lot of convincing from my uncle. anyways. if you guys are up for changing the spot let me know. We could do Schbaraum (however you spell it) park. right near there as well.

life is very crowded weekend nights. theres lots of asian food there, pool hall, arcade ect.. i've seen 240s there often, rx7s as well, and there used to be a R34 there too. its kinda a rich kid hang out.. personally i'd prefer other places.

All I know is that I have a fat intercooler just chillin in my bumper, smart cops might target that...I just want to be cautious, thats all...I do not have a loud exhaust, so at least that is comforting...RSR!!!

I go there every once in a while to get brakes. Richard told me to be careful when I bring my car to them. That really sucks *** since I'm going to have Rotora install my brakes soon. Now that I've get the Greddy DD exhaust makes it even worse

That's kind of a long drive for some people. Anybody interested in having a BBQ in the park in Temecula. I know some of the people in San Diego are looking to get away from the cops down there. Just a thought but I see guys around here all the time and would just like to meet some of them on like a weekend without being harassed for loitering in a parking lot.

P.S. Food is also cheaper when I can get it on base.

Of course it's a far drive for some people, it's always gonna be a far drive for someone. We decided to have it further east this time for those of us that attended the last one, but had to drive far.

I know it's always gonna be far for someone. But it's no closer to San Diego than the last one was. I figured either temecula or like escondido area would be a better middle point between LA and SD. It's just an idea I was throwing out there. I'm not trying to offend anyone's choice of location.
