O goodie, it's on a Saturday, thought it was gonna be this Thursday. Now I can make the Imports club meeting at UCI on Thursday (hehe, rice club, yea yea).

I can definitely make it now, considering I finish whatever the hell I'm installing Saturday (haven't decided yet - radiator + electric fan, grounding kit, more electrical ish, or fix up body kit a little bit).

Good, there's gonna be 240's people there. Whew, I was thinking about attending the meetings but I checked the website and saw all these fancy smancy single colored rich kid cars, haha. I think I'm gonna apply for most colorful car at UCI (black, brown, white, green/yellow, and red (inside)) haha.

That's why I suggested a BBQ at the park in Temecula. We can actually rent the park and then just fill the entire parking lot with 240's and nobody will care as long as we act mature.

If anybody's still up for this idea or any park for that matter let me know. I am a lot less likely to get harassed at a park/BBQ than hangin out in a parking lot where they know what an sr looks like.

The whole point of this thread I thought was to have a get together without an actual club. That doesn't mean it has to be confined to just one meet organized by one group of people.

Now please, before I get flamed, don't take offense to this. I would love to get together with all of you and just hang out. That's why I brought up the idea for a bigger venue.

My uncle in law owns a business in temecula and I am sure I could get his permission to have it in his parking lot(permission=CHP powerless). Just let me know if anyone is interested so I can get ideas on when/where to have it.

You have a point there, the more organization there is, the less it seems like a casual get-together. But at this point its too close to the meet to make any changes. But your idea sounds great, perhaps you can set up the next one?

Fo shizo my nizo . Ummm, temecula is kinda far for me, hehe. I'll go though if it's something reallllly different, like a bbq / tech day or something. That will be well worth it.

Reason I'm going to the one where all the cops are is, well, because it's a lot closer than other meets and apparently there's some college colleagues goin, hoo hoo.

I'm not trying to change this one. This is for future meets and what not. I'm interested in what you guys would like to do. Any ideas are welcome and so are locations. Keep in mind I'm trying to get all of socal involved not just the LA area or IE or SD.

Once again, please submit your ideas on what you think would be worth driving a little ways(besides a track day, i don't have those kind of connections). If you would like you can email ideas to me but I only check my email every couple of days or so.

Man.... I just missed this forum by two days!! I live at most 5 min from Banana Bay. That place is good and pretty cheap too. What did you guys eat? O yea, gabossie, you go to Cal Poly? Do you drive a turquoise bluish (looks like there is a pearlescent effect going on, either that or its just too early in the morning for me) 240? Just wondering because I see that car everyday at Cal Poly (I got there too). O man I missed out. BTW I drive this purplish auto '95 240 I just got from my cousin 2 weeks ago since she got a new car. Its completely stock.
