O man, I live inbetween there and it sucks. Good thing I haven't gotten pulled over yet (pretty careful about cops, always looking in my rear view). Sad to say, I do 95% of my driving in those areas. I've only recently acquired a 240sx as you can see from my above post, drove a mazda MPV before so I guess it would be kind of difficult to get pulled over in that (cops tend to overlook speeding vans ). But yea, this area sucks becuase a lot of people I know have gotten I would say more then their fair share. So excited to see so many 240 owners here in SoCal . Can't wait to start messing with my car .

Cold here in Rowland? How is that possible? Although I would have to admit, nights do get pretty cool compared to the scorching heat of the afternoon sun. .

I was at Knott's Scary Farm the day before and saturday was my sister's "congrats on getting into med school" dinner thingy. Can't ditch that unless I want my car destroyed by my gramps (literally).

Computer Engineering. Yours? Where do you park? I always park in Lot J and that's where I see the turquoise 240 everyday. I think whoever drives that car has almost the same schedule I do although I get there later and leave earlier than he does (could only get 3 classes this quarter )

O yea, all you SoCal people. How many of you have engine swaps and how many of you have gotten cought? It is true that the cops around here recognize an sr20. Do you guys think I would be able to get away with a rb25 more easily ?

They'll probably initially pull you over for a loud exhaust and eventually if they pop your hood and you're in trouble either way.

4th year Architecture, so my car is usually parked at the IDC (that big shed looking building down by the horses), damn near 24 hrs a day it seems. I also park in lot J for my lecture class at night sometimes.

The meet was cool. I personally, learned a lot of stuff about the SR engines and boosting and other misc stuff. Oh yea, Akito (steve) I don't think Nov 21st will work... or maybe it might, if it's late at night. Nov 21st is when Drift Showoff will be at Irwindale. Maybe we could all hook up and go out there together or something. That would be cool, if you guys are into that sort of thing. They are also having Extreme Autofest the same day in Pomona. Let me know. I will pe at the showoff for sure.

Can you post a map or address? I don't know where that is. I need to talk to some of you to get some suggestions and what not. It'll be a lot faster in person. I have so many questions to ask and so many more follow up questions.

Long BEach TOwn Center is off of the 605 freeway, between the 91 and 405.from ROwland you would jus take 60 west to 605 south then exit on Carson street.

I'll definitly be at the Long Beach meet since that's just around the corner from me. I have to see about gas for the one this weekend though. I need an O2 sensor and the gas mileage and prices right now is killing me! I mean my car eats gas right now like a 80lb toddler eats sweets.

I'm gonna try and go to both meets if they happen. Gonna kill me on gas I'm sure, but I'm dying to meet some of you, and maybe just maybe sit in the right seat of an SR powered 240...
