can't wait to see how CVT takes boost! not that ill boost mine anytime soon but when the warranty is up, large chance i will but i'd go with a supercharger instead of a turbo. hearing a supercharger scream the whole way down the track without shifting would be amazing

I want BOOOOOST too! The wait must be killing you. Just think how people are ready to buy a turbo feel... I got 18K miles on my coupe and by the time my cars a year old my warranty will be gone. I just want my turo for the drive to nopi.

nope, that's a smaller t3 they have at the shop. I'm getting the t3/t4, 60-1, .63 A/R, stage 5. Looks almost identical to this, except this is a 62-1 and mine is a 60-1

Shouldn't be to long now. This is the email I got from Tim today, along with pics. Enjoy!

Some more pics.I will have all the intercooler piping,BOV mounted.MAF,etc... finished tomorrow and the downpipe on Monday.then all the fabwork will be completed and we will need a few days to build the jigs before we can get the car back together. We are still waiting for the turbo and EMS to come in but we have everything else.Building a turbo system for this car inparticular was very challenging.the turbo has been moved a few times and when I say move.I mean cut all the piping up and completely redo it.The problem is lack of space an we need to run four different pipes in a confined area, not cook rubber hoses, wiring and the ECU.So it is a huge challenge.Much more of a challenge then I initially thought. The six speed coupe has a sh*tload of room and the CVT coupe does not.But here are some pics and I will for sure send some more tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. And in case anyone asks you.No that is not your turbo or airfilter we will be using. It is just for mock-up.

Interesting comment....I don't know if anyone has asked this already and if you have, I'm sorry, but is there any systems or future projects for a turbo for the 3.5 6MT version? and if there is, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

there are a number of threads devoted to this... they've done a few turbos for the 3.5 MT, but the first two were not production kits..

08altima3.5 has a production kit on his vehicle but I don't know if its on sell yet

Look about 6 posts up from here and check out 08altima35, Warner. He has the first production 6 speed turbo kit for coupe. Built by artesian performance. This is why him and I have been correlating about our projects on this thread.

I checked out that site and they don't have an MSRP yet announced for it and my closest authorized dealer (Titan Motorsports) from them doesn't have it listed either...I guess I'll give them a call to find out.

I will be installing a turbo in the future but for now i'm working on fiberglass boxes for 10" and 12" woofers. The fiberglass boxes will come primed ready for paint or painted for an additional charge. I will post pics within the next week.

will this be an artisan turbo or SFR, or just something you're gonna attempt to do with some piping and a turbo, and put together your own kit?????... its not just that simple to say I'll be installing a turbo on the A/C...

not to respond for adidas, but the cold piping looks like galvanized and the hot looks like stainless. i'm sure this isn't the final product as the turbo is just a mock up for piping measurement and installation. looks good non-the-less.

haha. blow off valve function = when hot air gets a little too toasty it blows off any super over heated air that would enter your throttle body causing harm to your plastic intake manifold cover. simple safety feature for any quality boost setup and let me be the first to say i highly recommend a good BOV wiith any boost application. (just in case)

well i was just joking before. sorry you took me for real. hope you didn't think i was being serious on any level in that post. I fully understand the purposes of a BOV and a Wastegate.

Alright guys, I got a few new pics from Tim. Looks like we are just waiting on the turbo now. I know there were some concerns on the intake charge tube before, but I looks like Tim has branded it with the speed force racing logo, and its there to stay. None the less, I did question its aesthetic value along with the intercooler pipe being so close to the ground. I will have some answers for you guys tomorrow! Enjoy!

The piping is just raw and has not been polished yet.The turbo is a mock-up as well as the air filter. We wont put the actual turbo, air filter, polished piping on till we are ready to do the final isntall.Otherwise,it gets cratched up,dinged up,etc..............
