Its from a beatles song (i was makin a joke because hes on a boat)... you gotta know this lol... just an FYI (sorry for the jack)

KRS-One's "criminal minded" is laid over what tune?

“In fairness *** ******* did pioneer studio techniques without which hip hop wouldn’t have been possible, in terms of (tape-based) sampling and looping.” *** ******* use of the Mellotron on “Strawberry Fields Forever” is recognized as the first time the technique of sampling was brought to the public consciousness.

Hear it from slick: http://www.odeo.com/audio/610940/view

I wonder what the first song Adidas is gonna play when he gets his car back... and how much he hears of it over the blower and all that power.. vroom vroom..

Thanks for posting adidas... I'm in the process of buying parts to peice together my turbo system. Think of trying to buy just the piping/lines from either turbochargers of SFR ,if i can, if not my friend works at a machine shop.

It is so much cheaper to piece together a turbo kit if you know what you are doing and know what you need. You could prob. piece one together for like $2000 vs. the $4-5,000 range that manufactured kits will be. If someone pieces one together, post as much detail as you can on here. I think the main thing with buying a kit is that all the measuring for the tubing has been done. If we could buy just the pre-bent tubing, that would be nice.

Sounds good. Can't wait to see some pics and progress! What are you doing about the turbo timer you wanted to install, adidas? I guess you haven't been able to figure out the wiring yet, huh?

Brian, I hate you

Seriously though, its up to you guys if you want to piece together your own kit. However, I know going at this the right way, with a tride and true turbo shop, its taking about a month to build everything from scratch and get everything perfect. With that being said. Everyone who builds a comparable kit at home, is looking at at least the same time frame. So think about whether you want to spend your time, or your money, developing a kit of this stature. Not saying don't go create your own, by all means, I would rather see more successful things for the a/c

Robert, I appreciate you being a liason here for me bro. I haven't heard from Tim since we dropped the car off, guess they are still in the fabrication process and not to much looks pretty right now. That AEM FI/C has got to be a b*tch to wire in to the ECU

Hey guys, send me an email if you want to ask me some questions about this kit. I only have so much information, but I will do my best to get them answered! Hit me up guys, [email protected]

Well I know for me, building one on my own is never goin to happen so I am with out a doubt going for a BAD ACE turbo kit. I have been wanting one for as long as I can remember, and I dont know if its been said or not, but will it be ok for a daily driver??

gas is 1.30$ per liter that works out to 4.92 CanD per US Gallon. So we pay about 5.00 per gallon

the economy is doing bad so people have less money for gas PLUS as gas rises, everything else rises since everything is transported by truck. also it sucks cuz i went to a gas station and then went back to the same gas station the next day and he raised his prices $.10. 10 cents in just 1 day is pretty bad

For the CVT, I believe the plan is to keep it a 6 psi for daily driving, and not boost it much past that! There's a reason that Blake is prototyping the turbo on the CVT... and that's because most other folks don't have the cojones to take the chance on possibly destroying their transmission! So the answer to the question is... "we hope so"

Haha thanks Robert for the uplift! We honestly don't know what the CVT is going to hold. 6 psi should be a good set point for boosting it. No point in going any higher yet cause if the CVT can't hold 6psi for a prolonged amount of time, how long can you expect it to hold at 8 or 9 ya know? We will see how it goes and hope for the best outcome

Brian, I continue to hate you pysch, the headlights should be getting to NJ early this week. I will let you know as I find out. Haven't heard anything from Caesar yet though.

Hey Robert, email me with the email I provided a couple posts ago. I forgot about your message and erased all my texts

Im picturing adidas in sailor suit marching to "in the navy"...

lol...

soon enough there will be better internals available.. and by that time, you will have been ridingthe 6psi for a while... you can swap some internals.. and crank it up!

the stock internals should be okay going a bit over 6 psi, but the transmission is so new and hasn't really been pushed or tested that i'm sure that's the reason they're going to run 6psi for starters which will be a really good gain in power on a already quick car. hopefully the cvt shows no signs of being over stressed and he'll be able to boost more when he goes out to the track.
