Might have to switch down to a (slightly) smaller injector so the ecu isnt adding so much timing on the top end from the maf voltage shifting of the safc (theory). Won't know till we try it, monitor everything, and get it on the dyno.
Hmm maybe you guys should wait to see what happens with the uprev reflash from my turbo system? That might make things a little safer.

Enough of the SER guys have done it on the older QR, it'll be fine. Just have to be careful. I do wish ARP made some stronger hardware for this engine, let alone some forged internals. We've had experience with subaru and other nissan turbo engines, as well as custom turbo projects on hondas, chevys with ecotecs as well as turbo and supercharged v8 ls motors.

Been watching this for so long, the videos= pure sex

This is my next mod for sure, how much hp do you think you are runnning now? and what was the diameter for the gauge, which brand gauge is that, and how did you install it?

Good job man, First TRUE 2.5 TURBO

nice build man, i am in the planning process as i am typing this. you definately need an exhaust and a good tune, you should be able to get into the upper 200's no problem at all. keep up the good work. i have a new holset sittin here that i'm goin to put to work. everthing will be custom, i'm even going to fab my own manifold.

and this is not the first 2.5 turbo(assuming you are referencing the second gen qr25de i.e. 08+altima, sentra se-r, sentra spec v) a guy turboed a spec v early last year with good success from what i remember.

We're still working on it.... in the middle of a big rain/windstorm as we speak. Exhaust is definitely in the works, the tune now is good but we still have yet to hit the dyno.

He claimed to be the first 6spd 2.5L Altima Coupe (or possibly first 2.5L AC turbo, since I've seen that white one with a cvt but not sure if it still exists. He knows its not the first turboed 2g 2.5L. There have been a few spec-vs afaik.

How big is the holset? Should haul a**.

New vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GKT6UnM1g4

This is with a little better tune, WRX STI injectors, MAF in the IC piping, and me used to driving it a bit more.

If anyone is wondering about the boost gauge, the other one was getting condensation in it (most likely from the cold weather and me having the heat on). So it got replaced with this sealed one. I mounted in there... ESP laugh now... with a petal lens hood from my camera kit lol. Just cut off the petals, the gauge slid and fit in snug. Done.

You can get them for less than 10 bucks on ebay. They fit perfect. lol

And for those confused the boost gauge is in BAR not PSI, hence 0.5 for full boost (just over 7psi).
