KAAZ diffs arent worth the money if your gonna beat on it. My KAAZ only lasted a year and a half. I am probably going to go the s15 helical route too.

Well when I compared my stock 240SX open diff carrier bearing and the S15 HLSD carrier bearings by touch and eye I couldnt see a diffrence.

But it isnt worth it to use the old ones and have something go wrong. When it comes to differentials there is no such thing as a "little problem". When things go wrong, you need a tow.

Get the S15 carrier bearings

My s15 diff came with the bearings already on it, and the original bearing races as well.

One of the bearing races was scuffed up so I used an s13 bearing race instead. Mixing and matching bearings and races is fine as long as both are in very good shape. Ideally you should put on new bearings every time you swap a diff but its not at all necessary.
