Here are three brand new images of the carbon fiber body kit. These are the C-West Style side skirts I had talked about....

We are still trying to decide on what wing to go with...I like the Veilside Kouki wing...

Also the Rod Millen Style for the Supras is pretty cool..

We are going to for the sleek look, so no big metal wings here...

Let us know what you think....We can handle criticism...

Take care!

im sorry, but i still dont like it. in my opinion that car needs to be all blue or all carbon fiber. it simply looks unfinshed. i am having a hard time beleiving that any major magazines will disagree with me. do you have plans to do the doors, quarter panels, and pillars in carbon fiber too?

I appreciate your opinion...

As for now, we are going to stick with this color. Once the graphic shop brings the car back and we see it, then we'll decide what to do next.

Chris... i love the carbon. And I love the blue. Nice contrast. My only suggestion would be to blend the colors.... I am sure you have already thought of this...but Instead of straight carbon to paint... use diagonal lines instead of vertical ones... You may want to do that with vinyl or paint... just a gradual change instead of SUCH a contrast. Congrats on the work.. the car looks awesome. Im in SE MO.. if you have her back in Searcy.. i would love to come look at it sometime! Bring my s24 by and let you guys do some magic ;)

We will probably be running the graphics where the blue areas meet the carbon fiber to create a fade effect.

Very similar to the HKS Demo Drift cars and they tear designs they had...

Well,

We got new wheels today. They are 18x9 +12, 18x10 +30. The fronts have a 3" lip and the rears have a 4-4.5" lip. Absolultely sick!

They came in hyper silver from the factory, so we are powdercoating the centers and leaving the lips polished.

Here's a photoshop pic I did, I suck at PS, I know...

But until I get some pics, heres something to kind of show...

Take care!

We could leave them in its current Hyper Silver/ Chrome state. What do you think?

Powdercoat and paint? Or leave them like they are?

Here's some more new pics...

definitely leave it....drop dead gorgeous the way she is....i do agree again with the paint blending for the carbon fiber....maybe paint "RB26DETT" or "240SX" on the hood? or your shop name?

I saw a badass Integra today that had a CF hood with paint on top that left the CF in the shape of flames, and they had a look to them like they were multi-level flames....like the paint was hovering above the CF...it looked amazing

Here are some pics taken today with the wheels in Gunmetal w/ the Hyper Silver Polished lip.

We also have two sets that are Hyper silver w/ polished lip.

We have three sets total, they are prototypes made by Motegi. As for now, they won't be released to the public.

We have them in Hyper Silver and in Gunmetal (As shown in the pics)

Do you think Gunmetal or Hyper Silver?

Thanks!

I just added the pics to the previous post 240SXedUp, now tell me if you like Gunmetal?

I personally am not a fan of them. In addition, I don't think the all-chrome/hyper silver would look good either. It's too Bling bling....

I think we will powdercoat and find some sort of happy median color.

Suggestions?

I personally like the gunmetal. Chrome/hyper silver is very bling for that car. But those gunmetals are bling but they pretend they arent. Its like they know they are bad ***, but they play it off. Thats cool. But anyway i like them

I will shoot some photos with the wheels in All Hyper Silver first....

We are looking at the Professor Sp1's in Black Chrome as a reference. I love the wheel they left the lip chrome, but painted the spokes Black Chrome... Probably my favorite wheel on the market....

I've got to find somebody that sells Black Chrome Wheel Paint...

I like the new ones better. I would like the other ones too, but the car is so flashy itself, its hard to put subtle wheels on it. I like the new ones, but they arent the best, you could do better.

Do the 5Zigen GN+s come in a nicer deep dish type wheel? Because those would be perfect for you IMO. and you are selling them it says on your webpage

Hey Guys,

I think we have decided to show once and for all what the RB26 motor in the 240SX can do bone stock. We've read through so many threads with everyones guestimations. But I think that while we have the chance, we'll put the myths to rest.

So, the motor swap is supposed to happen on Friday if everything works out. From there it goes to the graphic shop to get the exterior finished. (Already scheduled)

Once it comes back, it will take some more time to add the Power FC, AVC-R, injectors, etc. We are going to keep the internals bone stock, and probably run stock turbo's. I think if we can hook up, we should run 11's through the 1/4.

This is crazy for stock turbo's on any import car...

Take care!

Okay guys! It's been awhile since we've updated this thread. To let you know what's been going on with the demo car, we've been waiting for everything to come in from Japan.

This past week, after nearly two months of waiting, we got the Power FC D-Jetro for the R33 GTR Motor. We also got the Apexi Intake kits, and several other required goodies....

We have the motor in the car, and now it's just a matter of doing the piping, wiring it up, and getting it tuned!

Heres some of the latest pics...

I agree man! But, it's cheaper to have you guys switch to the DOHC KA motor and turbo it. I can find KA motors for $500-$800 w/ transmission's all day long..

Update: Car will be leaving CA on Friday, and should make its first public appearance Sept. 5 at the Import Face-off car show and track day in Memphis...

I look forward to giving lots of rides, lol.

Thanks to all who have shown support for the build, I hope you wont be let down...

As for now, its got the stock twins with AVC-R. Should be making about 350-375 rwhp on 1.2 bar of boost...

Videos coming next weekend! I will try to post them Sat. Night after the car show...

Take care!

Chris
