RB series replacement part numbers, etc

Q45 coils 1&2 work for the RB25det as well as the RB20. Part # 22433 - 60U02 is a valid Infiniti number, Nissan dealers couldnt find it but Infiniti had it.

important to note that it will only work on the series 1 rb25's.

NOT series 2.

Yes i had my alternator bench tested. The guy i dealt with couldnt match the part number up. so he went thru the catalogue and looked for a mitsubishi regulator that not only visually matched up, but had identically the same specs. the regulator came out of 2nd gen ford probes and mazda mx'6s, which are 2.5L's?

Edit: I made the mistake of using the N/A 300zx and I couldn't get the slave M/C to bolt back up.

I found out that the 91-94 Z32 speed sensor WILL work with an RB25DET transmission.

Vkoslak I will confirm that the tensioner is the same as that found on the 84-89 300ZX as I compared it to the RB25DET tensioner at O'Reilly Auto parts and it had the same part number stamped into the rubber and had "Made In Japan" stamped on it as well. Can anybody cross-reference an idler part number that would match a USDM motor part?

I am trying to compile a list of all major maintenance parts but info some members gave does nto match also i ahve some questions of my own that i didnt see a direct answer to in this post so please answer those if you can.

Belt tentioner descreptancy: two people gave 2 diff part numbers but nobody confirmed which one is the right one.

OK i heard all these responses on diferant plugs to use what is the bes irridium seems to be and then there are colder and hotter what is better also what o2 sensor for the rb20det

I say this because mine doesn't work properly and if it needs to be modified then it's not a direct fit and someone should post how it needs to be modified. Unless it's some kind of big secret.....

For the cam seals, 13042-16V00 IS the correct P/N .

I had a set sent at great cost to the customer from Japan, only to find that it was the same part # when they arrived as the Z32 cam seals. Of course, this was after exhausting myself trying to get the part #'s to try to cross reference to the USDM part #'s. Having this information before I ordered these would've saved a significant shipping bill for the customer.

Nissan does supercede part #'s, found that a lot with the CA18DET stuff as well, so in this case, both part #'s could refer to the same part, one is just a newer version that works better, but is same fitment.

my rb20 came with denso vq22 iridium tough plugs when i cross refrenced them the ngk # was bcpr7eix-11

i hate to reply to a 3 year old post, but just for future referance: all RB engines share the same starter as most longitudinal Subaru drivetrains. all the 2.5RS, WRX, STi, 2.5 legacys have the same one.
