hahaha sounds like FUN! I've always wanted to ride in a FAST go-kart. What kind of motor did they have in them?Sil240 wrote:What up!! RB people
Well I just wanted to say Lewis Hamilton check out Monster.com cause I'm taking your job!!!!!
I went Go karting this weekend, and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!It wasn't the little go kart with the 5 HP lawnmower engine either. These things were NUTS. They go 40MPH and it wasn't even a shifter kart.
Right now my Neck, Shoulders, Back and Hands are killing me Today...I had the ill Kung-Fu Grip on the steering wheel.
I'll post up pics lata.
Man, up until last weekend, I hadn't turned a wrench on my car in ... 4-5 months? House + wife + work + lifting. That's pretty much what I do now.Largekid wrote:what do you guys do when you dont have the urge to work on your s*** anymore, lol? I'm the same way. I don't have any friends to help, nor a garage (apartment). So I typically plan to do more than one thing to my car on a planned/specific day.Largekid wrote:what do you guys do when you dont have the urge to work on your s*** anymore, lol? That would probably be the case for me if #1: I didn't have to have the swap rushed, therefor paying a shop to do it. And #2: if I had a garage/house. It's no fun having to pack ALL your tools up when in the middle of a project due to time contraints (night time) or weather (rain/hot/cold).rb25det250sx wrote:wow seems like you guys are down in the dumps....just remember when you first got it done, and started it up and the beautiful sound it made. that just gets me ready to tear my car apart, just so i can fix it and put it back together.
I have been slacking off on the build due to other stuff. I'm getting back on track this weekend! I can't wait.rb25det250sx wrote:wow seems like you guys are down in the dumps....just remember when you first got it done, and started it up and the beautiful sound it made. that just gets me ready to tear my car apart, just so i can fix it and put it back together.
Quit gloating. ... you and your bring-bring rimz..240z4u wrote:I have been saying this for about a year... but the RB project is finally coming to a close. I look forward to working on it when I want to, not because something is facked up.
Just in case, I am sure many of you haven't ever seen my car.

I had the oppertunity to buy a pristine black one from the original owner, but at the time just couldn't justify it. Still can't I suppose. If the S14 takes a major dive I am moving to the german side I think.Carl H wrote:

Damn, I didn't know you sold that car. Plans for this one? Or is it just going to be a nice, stock DD? That definitely looks like a nice car. I don't know anything about Jaguar cars.Carl H wrote:if it makes anyone feel any better my s14 is down due to a mysterious fuel issue...i think my number one injector is starting to fail.doesnt sound anything like the rest of them, resulting in a somewhat crappy idle and slightly reduced drivability.
oh well, name of the game i suppose but she's done for all intents and purposes.
So a few pics of my new project car, sold my vh45de s13 that i built last summer for profit and grabbed this:
