red will be the only color planned for now for the V2 shirts. Will still have the black V1's available for those who never got one.

Will start pre-orders as soon as the end of the week for next week shipments.

Anyways, lets go with a poll of some sort.

Which in your opinion is more fun to drive?1) really quick car, hence fast spool, quick of the throttle.or2) stupid on and off surge, hence turbo lag, but a kick in the toush when it lights up.

If you are like me, enjoyment also is obtained by the scared reaction on the passenger's face... take that into account. :P
well see ricky i prefer both...lol thats why i have my mid 11 street car before upgrades and build(cant wait to see what she will do now) and the monster im building for the strip...

ppl will b4 the new build when i get home....

Bumpin' this thread back 2 top,

Got all my parts installed in last week, though I would share some pics Before installTool I used, to do springs. (one on the left GA317, works like magic with cyl. head on car, think it was like $36+s/h from snap-on site from Kenosha, WI)All done

That's it

And yes Greddy RB26 front timing cover fits RB20, had to trim some metal from the timing back cover where bottom 2 bolts are on right and left side. And it went on like it was meant to be there (cause I heard that it doesn't line up, or, not all the bolts can hold it on, well I'm using all 5 bolts to hold the cover on.)

By the way are my winkers on backwards on my S13, is the white part supposed to be on the inside or on the outside? Cause I think I put them on the right way, but have seen some backwards or opposite of mine?

IN+EX both 264 with 9mm of lift. Think closest to this is Tomei Poncams with 8.5mm of lift. Dont know spec for Greddy.

To do list is getting shorter: forward facing IM (RIPS mani, if I can ever afford it), and turbo upgrade love the HKS gt2540 series. I hear people talking only positives about those turbos. But the price for them is a r@pe.

Ok I thought they might have been the HKS 272's. I have the Tomei 270's in mine.

has anyone of you guys cut your valve guides to allow more airflow? Been looking at them, hmm. Heard mixed thoughts in the past.

I never usually talk about my motor setups but I was bored today at work...lol

I have been working on getting parts for my turbo swap for the past month and you'd be surprised (or maybe not) at how many online companies out there are so incompetent that they can't even get a simple order correct. I've had to return many parts back to multiple companies because they just couldn't get it right....anyway, thats not the point of this post...so basically this is the list of parts I have already and hoepfully get around to finish my turbo install this weekend:

6Boost T4 Divided Manifold RB25Borg Warner/Bullseye Twin Scroll S362 .91 AR (Oil Cooled Only)2 - Tial MVS WastegatesARP Exhaust Manifold studs and bolts4.25" O.D. Tapered V-Band Flange and ClampBlack AN swivel fittings and SS Braided Lines12mmx1.5 Block-Off fitting to block the water port on the blockHUGE a** AN fitting to replace stock oil return

Also had to make a custom SS braided line and AN fittings from the head to block because with the 6boost manifold the stock hard line gets in the way.

beautiful manifold - thanks kayton!!

beautiful turbo!! - thanks Extreme PSI! A big fat middle finger for turbochargers.net

tials!

heres a HORRIBLE pic of part of the head mod

heres the old faithful coming off!

and here's what the new setup is gonna look like

I just got one of those tials^^ Damn thing is TEENY compared to my old one!

I just welded up my holset HX35 internal wastegate and welded on a Vband flange. Progress is slow but sure.

I must agree with you Carl, I've decided that a giant turbo on an rb20 is really not for me. I've dropped back to a stock fuel system and an rb25 turbo.

I've been doing more work on friends/family's cars than on my own. Currently daily driving a stock Z32 TT. The past few cars I've built have been subaru's (from low to high 12 sec cars), still using stock turbo's, and my brother's SC'd Mr2. I realized that little to no turbo lag, with a broad power band is absolutely necessary for a street car.

I'll be using the rb25 turbo, or maybe even a stock rb20 turbo until I can upgrade to a powerplant thats mostly stock and has more power everywhere. I like the rb20 most how it was intended to work from the factory.

any pics of your welds on that wastegate? i've been wondering how much to weld on it, lol.

I had the super lag, kick in the pants, and now i'm downgrading to a more managable lag time, lol. I miss my throttle response!
