i think if i had an s13 i would get off more on those type of steering wheels. that one is a nice pic. i just love the luxury of having an airbag. have you seen the r33 factory momo? that one is a baller steering wheel for having an airbag!

Yeah I saw the R33 momo, pretty cool.

I went and bought it and installed it just a few minutes ago!
Now I'm eating a sandwich. :)

I took a few pictures after I installed it, haha I was super careful not to scratch the thing while installing it.
I tried to take a decent picture, but I couldn't haha.
Looks better in person.
Click on the pictures and they should enlarge, new feature on Nico.

Here's how far the steering wheel comes out with the Works Bell Splash hub, in total the steering wheel comes out about an inch further than the S13 stock I think.
I didn't measure it though.

One more picture!

And for those that are curious, this is how it looked before the wheel.
Image

Woot!!!! :fistpumping:
The steering feels really really nice, not sure how to explain it, feels slightly stiff and a little more direct?

A little bit, I think the stock steering wheel is 365mm-ish, and the Nardi is 350mm.
I like that it's a bit closer to me now, it feels better and gave my knee some more room.

Looks great, but you should get gauges that match the stock ones! Looks so much cleaner, I got some Autometer Sport Comp II & then painted the needles on the cluster with a red sharpie & its damn near perfect!

Thanks!
Yeah, I've been thinking of a way to blend the gauges in with the interior better, they look out of place in there.
The sharpie trick sounds like a good idea, I was also thinking about painting the silver rings a matte black.

Got any pictures of your gauges? Maybe I'll color the needles red if that helps a lot.

The red sharpie actually comes out a little orange so it matches very well, kinda blurry but you get the point.

Ohh sweet, looks pretty good.
I was more thinking about the 3 gauges in my a/c vent, sometimes they look out of place but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about them yet..

Maybe if you got "smoked" gauges it would blend better. My prosport gauges match my cluster quite well, the only difference is the red needle vs the white needle of the cluster. When they are off it almost looks factory though.

Your interior is awesome, so I'll ask you this. If you had to mount 2 more gauges, where would they go? I'm thinking about getting a water temp and exhaust temp gauge, but already have 3 in the dash vent and I don't want them on the pillar. Steering column? Somewhere I'm not thinking of?

Mount them all on top of the dash.

Yeah, some cooler gauges would be a better I think, but these Autometer ones have been working great so I'll keep them for now..
If I had to mount 2 more gauges, I'd probably mount them on the steering column.
The din slot below the stereo would be cleaner but if they are important gauges to monitor, it could be a hassle to look down to check on them all the time.

Haha, can't afford another car!

I wouldn't want to mount my on the dash because my dashboard has no cracks on it and it would be a shame to drill holes in it. :ohno:
If I were to mount gauges on my dash, I'd probably cover my old brown dashboard with flock and use that haha.

Haha no problem.
Those gauges look nice too, I think if I were to buy new gauges it'd probably be some STRi gauges like these:

Defis are awesome but the price of those things.

Defi would be RAD but soo expensive.

I feel ya on the dash thing, but mounting them in the din pocket would prolly look good.

Whatever you do please hide the wiring better than the picture shown lol

I was thinking about mounting some gauges on my dash but since I don't wanna drill them in I thought maybe some 3M tape would work? I have a dash cover as well(shown above) so I could hide the wires too =P

I just want 3: AFR, oil pressure and oil temp =D

Yeah I was thinking about that too, my turbo timer came with this foam-ish double sided tape from 3M and my turbo timer is stuck on there pretty good.
You could probably use that to mount them and use your dash cover to hide the wires and the mount.

Haha thanks.

Well I dropped by SonicMotor today after my morning class and bought some taillights. Woot!

It comes with the orange signal light bulbs, yay!
I went to Kragen, and Pepboys and they didn't have it, so this saved me some time.
I found out that my local Autozone has them though, now I know where to go when one of my signal lights go out.
The coupe's (and probably hatchback's) signal light bulb number is 1156, Sylvania sells 1156A which is the amber version of our signal light bulbs.

I wish I had a better camera, it looks better in person.
I'll probably take some better pictures on the weekend if I had time to hang out with my friends.

Oh yeah guys, btw the fitment on these were great.
If you're going to buy it on eBay, make sure you get the ones where the back part looks the same as stock:
Image

There is another version floating around eBay that is not a plug and play for our cars, don't buy those.

Mine also came with some rubbery foam thing, it was a bit too thick and made bolting the taillights in a bit of a hassle but you can still use them, or buy some butyl tape from the dealership or NAPA and use that instead.
