I was wondering if anyone has ever done or even attempted to do a R32 conversion on a S13 coupe. Or can it happen? has this been donr already?

It has been done, it looks stupid, the lines dont flow and the front is too long.

I would call it a 240.

Just like I call a 240 converted to a Silvia a 240.

Linked via the main sticky. Scroll down for pics of a bunch of conversions. Like all Skyline conversions, it's pretty much just ugly, even when done right...which is just about never.

hi people, i was reading some of your comments and i have to disagree. I actually have done a r32 conversion on my s13 240sx fastback. Its not at all done yet but I really like the lines, especially from the side. although I haven't really seen a coupe so i cant really comment on that. I just want to say if you don't like it, good, cause its not your car anyway. I think its awesome.

Oh its possible and done many times, however its hard to make it look good. Its quite a bit of bodywork + money + trial and error

from what i see in some of these pictures, looks like it possible, and it also looks pretty nice,

i've seen some r33 conversions on 240sx, but on s14, not 13, and it doesnt look for nice, so yeah, these r32 conversions are pretty nice,

My buddy showed me a pic of a guy that did it and it looked awsome. He lives up here by me in WI and he took a 93 240sx coupe, RB25 engine, R32 front end conversion, R32 taililights, R32 rims, and the kicker is the R32 has a wider butt. He got the wider rear fenders and had it painted charcole. It looked so close to the real thing. It was tight.

ok last and final question. Does everything bolt up? Well ok before i get flammed on this let me ask again cause i know everything that says bolt on always seems to have some major moddifications to make it fit. But is it easy to install just like a body kit or does it need to be taken to a professional and be cut up to match?

Well if you look at people's usual reasons for not doing these things, it's the massive amount of fabrication and time it takes. So I'm gonna say no, it doesn't bolt up.

With some redrilling of holes it CAN be bolted-up pretty easily. It will look absolutely terrible.

Ever notice that there's no pics from the rear sides of cars with crappy R32 front end jobs? The front fenders stick out like a mofo and it looks ridiculous. You can kinda see it on the convertible there.
