on the grey r32 conversion, what exactly did he use for the rear conversion? r32 trunk or 240sx trunk? and the rear panels, did he use over fenders or cut n weld r32 rear quarter panels?

Wow, I cant believe this thread is still going

I will admit, someone did a very good job building this car, but that does not change the fact that it is still a 240SX, and personally I think it is ugly. The lines dont match, and the body does not flow.

There is just no contest, I would rather live life wishing for a real R32 than spend one week driving some disproportionate bastard child.

Some real R32s just to show some contrast.

I guess I have lost taste for all these conversions, I just dont see the point. Everyone wants to be different these days, and they always end up the same. Stop trying to be different and maybe you will be.

Dude..I think you crazy..This conversion is almost a dead on clone!! I agree almost all conversions suck but this is done right and looks almost 100% like an R32..with maybe the exception of the rear glass and rear side glass.

I am going to have to agree.I mean, don't get it wrong, it looks good and I love GT-R's as much as the next guy, but still, at the end of the day, it's not a Skyline, ESPECIALLY if it doesn't have a RB engine (then I'd say its OOOKKAY!! ).But the only difference between this GT-R conversion and the fake-mugen kits and "interfooler" intake systems is the amount of money spent and time.

And in all honesty, I LOVE the winkers on my zenki. I only wish I could find some of those nifty white light deals. The winkers are an endangered species... we must give them hope!

Cept that you'll never be able to import an R32 into US unless you're a rich muthafuker. If you are than you won't be in NICO forum.

Nice work on the S13 GT-R, does it come with ATTESA-ETS?

ok since we r on the topic...that's wat i was thinking...since i will never...and u can hold me to this...buy a new car...i will never have any hesitation putting down 50G+ down for a skyline ( was alwayz my dream) since recently reading the article concerning the skyline being banlisted even by the DMV...living in cali (and i will never move) my dream is pretty much crushed...but i will still chase it...currently i'm researching on how to get an s chassy (s13 or s14) and basically put everything that is R33 onto it...including the rhd...and if i ever find good news trust me u'll hear from me...

he had the money, but i just couldn't do that to the 240 eventhough i need the money and i hate the 240 now

BTW, this is a cool thread. one of the few that goes from crap to better

Am I attempting the impossible or something, WTF!I just want the R33 or R34 front bumper, or something similar, but I want to keep my winkers (the ladies like 'em.). I don't care they are Skyline parts, but they have a really squared out look I like and a mega-large opening for my intercooler. I don't even want side skirts or the back bumper, just want the front. Also the R33 front has those neat little "shelves" to keep my fog lamps. Anyone think they can help me out? Is it possible to "squeeze" a front bumper in by a inch or two??? Or someone know of a nice squared out front bumper? I don't like this inverted notch thing i keep seeing on S13 aftermarket parts.

If you put a big squared off stock anything it is going to look downright terrible. I dont care how good the front bumper looks, if it doesnt match the rest of the car, then it will look like garbage. Im sure with enough money you could make the bumper fit with flip ups, but the only way it will look right is with matching sideskirts and rear bumper.

I will agree that it is the best Ive ever seen because all they did was convert, they didnt go overboard, but the fact remains, it is a poser, a fake, it can talk the talk but not walk the walk. Combine that with the overly low front ride height and you get a car that just leaves me feeling neglected.

I see where ya going with this, its just that I don't really want the whole body-kit combo, yet something in the front to let my intercooler get some extra air, I need as much coverage as possible in Houston. But I was peeping it out on my ride and noticed the fmic would hang down lower than the stock bumper could cover. Not to much, but still unbalanced looking. With that said and shown the error of my ways, I still want my squared out front, but now the rest of the kit to go with it. Though I realize it won't quite look right with the winkers, imma have to go with the form over function ideal. And I just can't deal with the inverted notched front almost every damn company makes for the S13. I come from the school of VW, where square was king. Some habits I just can't shake...

You can keep your popups, just need to mod the fender to go with the front bumper.

And do something about the gap that will be there between the lights.
