I like short shifters. I don't like the rattling. I like B&M. I don't like that my B&M shifter rattles.

Sounds like a personal problem.

Have you tried replacing the bushing with that fancy one that one of those JDM companies sells?

I put the stock one on. Only rattles at +5200 though.

I don't remember. I got it almost a year and a half ago from FRsport and they didn't have anything other than B&M Short Shifter from what I can remember. It was worse before. Rattled at around 3500ish. Then I got a Kazama/Nismo Motor/Transmission mounts and fixed it a bit. No more rattling while cruising 80.

how so? proper ones (ie- not ebay) make a nice difference which is noticeable. and you can't call a b&m one rice and at the same time advocate tom's ebay shifter. and i thought this thread was for rice with the spray paint and neon lights and what have you

i said boy-racer. not rice.

i love rice. i love gaudy. i dont like people wasting 200 bucks on a shift lever so they may "shift gears so much quicker"

dont argue that its "cus its tighter/fresher" than oem, cus doug and i just posted pics on how to refresh stuff properly anyways.

again. no further talk of such devices is permitted.

Ahh this s***'s great. Good internet times..I know the thread leader said no but;You know I've been considering an oe shifter because you have to baby the ebay ones for daily driving so u hit the synchros right.. I'd like to see how oem feels... but I sold or gave away all my old ones and I think i've had like 4 oem shifters at my disposal over the years lol.

Dear Keegan,It seems as though you and my friends have all chipped in and bought me something that I have wanted, and needed for a long time now.

In honor of that, you get pictures taken of your car with said gift.

Because, well, lets face it, I can't take pictures of my s***box.

Went all the way back and read thru pages. Love the build. After this makes me wanna get my lazy a** up and start working on my car again. Wish I was still in PA to go to some of the meets down there. Use to live in West Chester when I attended UTI. Keep up the good work

Idk why he'd think about ls1... weight bias, initial costs, driving from paradise/ephrata like daily... gas mileage out the a** lol.. not for my daily no thanks heh. Joel and I gave him a taste of boost so I hope thats why lol.. sry if i'm being a weetawd.

I'm bored. just went thru the roll center thread on zilvia... want moar ... i want some ball joints... lol, all in time.

i honestly WAS getting the ball rolling for LS1 setup... but i rationalized it and realized that i could build a potent little SR for less than half the cost of an LS1 done the way id like.

and i already own the SR.

First stage will be full OEM rebuild, OCD style. stock t25(rebuilt), stock injectors, stock maf, stock ecu tune, PSM HMIC, PSM Cobra downpipe. super simple, super reliable, and easy to break things in with.

Second stage (planning on within a year or so of install of first stage) is S15BB T28, 700CC injectors, N60/N62 maf, tune. should net just over 300whp.

thats the battle plan. unless crackhead deals pop up, thats the route im taking for now. parts should start arriving in the next few weeks for the rebuild portion of things.
