Doug's a pretty good chopper.

You're getting closer to the color scheme (or lack thereof) I'd like to see on the rear wheels Regardless of color I vote yes though.

Lol at you and bumnah jokes.

Looks good Keegan, is there a chance that if you get different side skirts, they will be up for sale to anyone but Doug?? LOL.... I would be interested.

LOL

I'm terrible at chops, Keegan is the boss (as well as everything else in life)

I'm waiting for a front lip to put my skirts back on...

Rolling shots soon? Maybe? Iunno.

Twin track day event soon? Maybe? Iunno.

Work on the car soon? Maybe? Iunno.

Okay, the last one won't happen.

Well, you were certainly missed. Don't fear, we'll line you up amongst the other cars when we do our jumps and standard car demolishing.

prime example of the underestimation of the 240sxor your friend was like one of mine who f***s around no matter what he drives. that was good of him to help out though. nice build

You don't need jumps to clear over my car.

I enjoy our banter bumnah, I'm excited to have a Nico banter buddy, now that you don't really have wc and his paperweight to rag on

He's been taking refuge in the KA forum. Most likely part of the coping process associated with owning a paperweight.

"My car doesn't run but it would make more power than a KA, so I'll hang out here."

Haha just kidding man.

MGE: Have you considered the American Racing VS-KF knock offs? I realize they are knock offs and you have come a long way since the Rota wheels, but it's actually decent sizing and looks top notch. I'll see if I can find the picture, they were on an Infiniti of some sort and it looked pretty aggressive.

Yeah and they looked legit, gimme a sec and I'll find the pic.

Bingo:

Turns out I was wrong, they aren't American Racing wheels, they are American Eagle Boss 338 wheels. The ones in the picture are 18x9.5 -4. Here's the web site that lists all the colors/sizes.

http://www.jdwheels.com/boss338.htm

x9.5 -4 is basically the only size they offer, I'm sure Keegan isn't going to run the pathetic 18x8 which happens to have a +2 offset. The polished lip on the black ones could easily be painted white, then you have the color scheme that you shopped. At $160 a pop, they aren't that expensive at all.

Oh, those. I thought they actually made it look like the VS-KF's. Those are just replica Mustangs. Bullit's I believe. Maybe Mach-1's. Idk anything about them.

Yeah I mean they are for sale on a mustang/muscle car replica wheel web site, but the spokes are different shapes than the regular mustang ones. The more I compare them the more they don't look like VS-KF's, but they don't really look like the mustang ones either.

Either way they look good, the sizing is aggressive, and they are cheap. Sorry for the off-topicness.

Do you drive under 18 wheelers? Then try to rob 'em? Do you make out with Vin Diesel too?

Yo Mr. Greeneyes, I remember you talking about rebuilding your stock shifter.I'm kinda getting tired of my short shifter and want to rebuild my stock shifter.Would you happen to have the part numbers for the parts required to do a rebuild? :D

according to said diagrams:

1x 32204P (upper snap ring)1x 32850N (socket assembly)2x 32879 (wave washer *i use two, one below the top snap ring and one in the bottom OEM spot*)1x 32862 (boot)1x 32861 (bushing for the bottom of the lever)

Then assemble in this order:

FROM THE BOTTOM UP (aka how you'll reload the shifter)

wave washersocket assemblyshifter lever w/ ball pivotsecond wave washersnap ring w/eyelets"c" shaped snap ring (the one WITHOUT little eyelets in it) (save this from your current oem setup)

the second wave washer takes up a lot of the slack, in case you were wondering.

any questions?

ask ILOVEMYRHS13 how it feels... aka brand new. we rebuilt his when doing his 5 spd conversion

note that you must "walk" the second wave washer over the shifter/boot. tricky as hell... but achievable.

also, install the boot over the TOP of the shifter (threaded area) and move it down... think condom.... also lube the inside of the boot so it slides over the shifter. impossible to do dry.

and yeah. its a double fail. MEGAN and SHORT SHIFTER.

enjoy your OEM goodness. its SO good.

guys, make sure you check bumnahs thread too... i just posted some raw pics of his track event. UNEDITED. (he musta 'shopped his)
