How many you need?

Megan Racing seems to be a good choice. My friend works for them and I've seen some of their stuff. Look spretty good and the zilvia crowd seems to like their coilovers. Good stuff for the price!

Hey Marc will the HKS sr downpipe work with the hit. There are 2 listed on this website the SS version and the Mild Steel. If they work I'd be more then glad to pay the difference of what the down pipe would cost in the kit to cover the HKS stainless steel one. Trust HKS over Megan and day.

Greg-I will give you a jingle tomorrow and we will discuss those. I doubt anyone would mind if we put BRM SR20DET downpipes in the kits

Sebastian, don't worry, we wont send you a MEgan if you dont want it, I will get back to you in email, but you just ordered so I doubt there will be any problems getting Greddy/RS*R ones by the time yours ships out.

Justin-Your kit is still on time for next week as well as Greg's. We can't wait to see these things installed. Oh, btw, the Snickers bars have shipped and are on the way, gotta have that peanutty freshness and all that ;D

Hey guys,

We got a very good and up close look at the Megan Racing SR20DET downpipes today and they are flawless. They are 100% stainless with nice flanges and they are exactly the same fit as the Greddy/RS*R pieces that are painted.

We spoke with Greg today a bit and he also has had good impressions of their gear, so going forward, we will be shipping the kits with those since, being stainless, they will outlast any other painted pipes out there and the fit and finish was awesome.

Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop.

Thanks!

There's NO reason not to use the Megan DP. It's identical to the HKS and Greddy, has beefy flanges, and it's SS.

Pretty hard to screw up a curved piece of SS with 2 flanges, and they TIG all their stuff. It's at lease as nice (if not nicer) than our BRM downpipes (which I can't do for the Megan price).

Good call - Wooo hooo, one week 'til BOOOST!!!!

Geo- Your kit will include the Megan Racing DP. We have tried everyone in the business and no one has Greddy/RS*R ones. They just aren't available , not in the quatities we go through, and we have dealt with this before. Delayed shipping on a turbo kit because of a simple DP just doesnt make sense to us, so we are going with the high quality, always available part

No need.

Flex sections *can* be more hassle than they're worth.

Hey gang!

The first of the kits have shipped AZ and Florida will be receiving their kits this week as they left our production facility on Saturday morning. Tracking info will be available Monday and you guys will get Emails for those from us on Monday.

We can't wait to see the reaction when the boxes are opened. These things looked like artwork when they left and Robert and I checked them over ourselves to be assured Quality Control remains high with the increased volume.

More info on Monday, have a great weekend everyone!

For some reason when they arrive.I'm goign to disappear from work....Going to put my car on stands tomorrow and start disassembling. And wire my SAFC.I guess swap out my injectors as well. And remove my sound system.Marc did we need to relocate battery?Or was it we had to cut strut wall on drivers side?

I think that problem was eliminated. The battery stays in his home.

Hey guys,

Dont ask me why I am still up

Geo-Your kit is scheduled to go out on 7/23/05 as per 4 weeks from payment. Email me if there is something I am missing We will try to get all kits out sooner, but as of now we are still on 4 weeks. ALso you are correct, the battery stays right where it is and you do NOT have to cut anything resembling something as serious as a strut wall. Its minor trimming between the headlight and the fenderwell. Go slow, as the picture in the manual is old and not that much needs to be removed any longer.

Ok I am off this time

Have a good one guys!

Guys, I understand we are all excited about the kits coming out-- but can we please keep buyer/seller communication stuff like this off board and in emails or AIM? Anything else is fair game of course, but I see no reason why the rest of the NICO community should have to read about which address packages were sent to.

That said, I wanna see pics of this kit! ASAP!

Stockerthanstock-- I dont think Marc really has time to actually remind people to email him. Why dont you just go ahead an email him yourself (or ask here like Florida suggested), and he will answer your questions when he has time?

Guys this thread is really turning into a pile of junk.. Please keep posts in here related to IAP's products, questions about his design, or comments about setup etc etc. I'm just going to delete any more posts that arent along those lines. If you have billing/shipping/communication issues to dicuss with Marc, then please keep it on email or phone.

Thanks guys!

I'll be back at 6 tomorrow to answer questions.Think I asked him everyone possible.....So shoot away. If it's abotu install wait till Thursday night and I can show the pics which would be easiest to answer your question. Marc is very beusy and tryign to get these kits out. Trying to releive some pressure for him so he can get his kits out to us.Great guy to deal with and will be dealing with him again.Keep up the great customer service Marc
