nismofly-The DP that comes directly off the turbo is 2.5", the SR20 DP is 2.5" then goes to 3", you can use your stock cat and still bolt a 3" exhaust up to it on most 240SXs. Check your cat first, but if you weren't able to you would be I think the first one who couldn't that we have sold kits to

Hope that helps!

For proper gasket fitment you would want to have a 3" section made that tapers downward to 2"5' at your exhaust. A local muffler shop could probably cut the first 12" or so off your catback system then weld on a new transition that would have a 3" flange and pipe to mount to the cat. Shouldn't cost a fortune either, guessing maybe less than $100.

Talk to you soon!

Chris - We could also do a high-flow cat that has a 3" end and a 2.5" end.

it says on the site you can specify the turbo you want when you get the kit, but he can probably tell you if that exact one is available

Carlos's car is one of the cleanest S14's in the nation, running an IAP kit for over 2 years now...

That stage two kit is looking nice but it doesn't have everything I'm looking for at the moment. How customizable is this kit? I'm planning on doing a rebuild on my engine sometime this year hopefully and wouldn't mind stuffing a nice turbo setup into the mix. Some parts I'd like for the rebuild don't come with your kit and I'd really like to order all pieces from the same place. Hopefully that way there'd be a better chance that everything's compatible and works. Right now you guys are looking a little (LOT) better than another company that sells turbo kits that I've been watching...

I've got lots more questions but they can surely wait.

STS - Your best bet is to CALL Marc - He's a great guy, and will answer all your questions (he's been pretty patient with all my dumb questions, haha)....

IAP's stuff is more upgradeable than most kits I've seen....

Hey guys,

Sorry we missed a few posts, we are working literally night and day to get all these orders filled. All kits are still on target for time frames mentioned before which is one reason we miss posts

Florida- We can customize turbos, but we did order yours as stated in our pricing on the initial post, so call me or email me if you want something different and we can easily work that out for you. As I am always up front, if we do change that, it will push the dates back about 10 days or so, since they will have to make us a new turbo for you. Talk to me in email and we will work out the details

Thanks Nicole and Carlos for all the support, we appreciate it and can't wait to see you guys again.

OK, back to kits...

Have a great weekend!

I can't wait an extra ten days.I'll just take what you got.22psi is what they are good to so it'll be fine for what I need.Don't plant to go over 12 at the moment maybe 16 max.If I want upgrade it will probably be a t-67/88.Was just wondering about a turbo that make more top end power and some lag to it.Going to come at end of this week coming up?Or will be the week of the 4th?

Hey just wondering if there is a dyno for the stage one kit with the a/f from any current owners? And maybe pics of the installed parts.

I don't have a dyno but I have pics of everything in my Cardomain site. (this is for SOHC though)

on SOHC the most difficult part of the install was installing the return oil line bung on my oil pan. Seriously as far as installs go it was CAKE. I had a harder time doing a timing belt install on my friend's 92' stealth ES.

definitely took a while but it was mostly due to my removing EGR and AC components and re-running my vacuum lines while I was in the engine bay.

i had ZERO fitment issues though. (except I installed the intercooler upside down and had to add a small pipe to the cold pipe so it would mate with the throttle body.) Im still chuckling about it but hey if I'm that inept and I had little to no trouble, anyone should be able to do it.

Hey guys,

We (as many other companies) have run into supply issues with Greddy and RS*R on SR20DET downpipes. I think some warehouse in Cali is hoarding them all or something(lol). So we had a question for you all since you probably know more about these guys than we do, and we wanted to see what everyone would think if we switched to these.

Megan Racing makes what looks to be a very nicely made Full Stainless SR20DET downpipe and we were thinking about moving over to those for two reasons.1. They are available most of the time and..2. They are Full Stainless, unlike the Greddy/RS*R pieces.

We are wondering if anyone could lend us some feedback on these pieces?Would you guys like to have them in the kits instead of the Greddy or RS*R ones, since those two are both painted mild steel?

Give us some opinions/insight please

Thanks!

Stainless is awsome, having a supply is awsome. Looks like a win win to me homey.

I'd make the switch is a second.

Well this is not from me testing any of their pipes but I've heard issues with their manifolds cracking and questionable build quality of their headers by doing some searches on google about their products. Some people said it's either a hit or miss just like parts from SS autochrome either they work great or they break great. That's one of the reasons why I didnt buy their coilovers. Me on the other hand wouldn't jump on the switch to Megan Racing( if it affects my turbo kit and I presume that it will ), something that hasn't been tested and I know nothing about I just can't bring myself to trust..
