Oh oh!Window45 wrote:im affraid i don't get that one
well just cause it says mustang it must be fast right? however its still just a donkey, oh i mean ponyWindow45 wrote:=-0 then why do the v6 mustang and gt owners seem to thing those fords are sooo much better lol have an answer for that one?\
the Q chews up 5.0 mustangs (sj50 or whatever it is) with 4 ppl and approximatly 500 lbs of cargo in it, somewhere around 120 for the 3rd run, it gets really really squirly with no shocks!! (recomended not to try it)Kiven422 wrote:My friends 2000 Honda Prelude (JDM Headers/AEM Intake) has a top speed of 151 MPH.
My Q45 cannot do over 148MPH. Although I can cruise at 120MPH comfortably at 3500RPM while most sports cars are revving mad.
Think this car is still not that fast?
My 93 Q will shiza on him with 4 PEOPLE in the car and ALL WINDOWS + SUNROOF FULLY OPEN @ 150MPH!!! It will also shiza past my friends 1993 Mazda RX-7 if I didn't have a speed limiter.
I estimate I can hit past 160MPH judging by how fast it climbs from 140-150 with all the extra weight I had in it.
But anways take some pics of your AWD Q45 i'd really like to see it
At the very least an undercarriage shot of the cross member to see what you did for clearance.sijoko wrote:. Show us the pics of your super duper all-wheel drive Q......
Is this in a signature? (Mine are turned off.)sijoko wrote:1995 infiniti q45-All wheel drive-CAI-3.73 gears
Hmm...............me thinks me smells a troll. Show us the pics of your super duper all-wheel drive Q and also tell us where you got the 3.73 gears from. Inquiring minds want to know.
well right now she is sitting at 310,000 if i had found this site and learned that i should have replaced the stock timing guides that somehow by the grace of god lasted that long she would be at 310,000 original, and if someone thinks that ur car is bulky and slow and a pile, just think, right now mine is flat black and still holds her own pretty damn good with a college full of cocky automotive studentsWindow45 wrote:carfrk666did your motor really hit 273000 miles? on the q?and no guys that was the answer i was lookin for, i feel the same.. its just ppl see the q and they think it looks to big and bulky to do anything :/ i dunno i just wanted to see what others thought
It is not all wheel drive.....the poster is either too dumb to know that, or just being a jackhole.ppastos wrote:Is it just me or....
But who would believe he has a all-wheel drive Q45?
Its hard enough to maintain it and keep it to OEM specs without adding a transfer case, Which by the way is impossible.
I would if he had pictures posted of it.ppastos wrote:Is it just me or....

I can't remember if the JHG50 was available in AWD, but the FY33, Y50 and F50 were and are.anlasak wrote: I would still like to see a properly assembled AWD VH45DE G50 Q45.
i belive the point that most of us are making (cause i know its the one that i am) is that for its have a** that is has and how old she is, its a pretty dang quick car, its not fast, but shes dang quick, ive been in alot of fast cars and i deal with alot of people that build fast cars and they are all suprised when they get into mine caue they just dont expect it out of a heavy car, she can still hold her own on the street when it comes to stock to stock, heck 240sx's are so great right? well they look good in my rearview (and i can back this up, i own a 240)tmak26b wrote:AWD cars with a lot of power can still speed all four, and most AWD system are not true awd as they dont always have LSD in the front or rear. I remember my Volvo spun the RF and LR in the snow, I was pissed.
Fast is relative, it is the slowest car in my driveway, but I still enjoy it. This is not 1990 anymore, a lot of family sedans can outrun a 1st gen Q. Remember most cars make about 250hp and they have better gearings.
A rule of thumb is 10lbs / hp.
If you think your car is super fast, I highly recommend you drive another car. Heck a Jetta diesel is almost as quick, if not faster up to 60 due to the great gearbox and very respectable torque.
