I'm going to transform my pathy to a srt version, fix the engine a bit, add some rims take off the roof rack and the side steps, and I want to lower the front a bit, maybe custom make a body kit of some kind, or fabricate one, so I'm starting off with dropping the pathy, is there a drop kit, or can I use those shackles to compress the springs, has anybody used them and of you have, are there any problems with them

Not being an a**, but a few things...

1. You cant "make" it an srt version, thats american stuff.

2. If you get wheels, get some nice ones, no dumb designs or anything.

3. You can lower it and make it handle amazing for an suv. ( I have a ton of suspension mods ).

4. Please dont do any body kits, the pathfinder styling is perfect stock and if you do itll look ricer.

5. Dont even consider using shackles or things that compress the springs, itll ride horrible and be unsafe.

6. In terms of engine, you cant do much other then some basic stuff. If you want real power its going to cost you real money, alfredo24 did a turbo setup and is pushing 425 at the crank, i believe hes building the block at the moment to run more power. So it is possible just not cheap. Talking 3k+ just for the turbo setup.

7. I posted a bunch of my links in another thread recently and ill copy them here for you. As of right now if your looking to make your pathfinder more "street tuned" i believe mine is the best example on this forum as of now.

:poke:
+ Six-piston Brembo breaks and 15-inch rotors.
and a 6.2 L V8..... 470 hp or something comparable. i would really like to see a supercharged kit for the r50's. but even then, all this stuff is going to wear your stock parts even faster.
just adding some more thing's to do on your list
and idk if the transmission and drivetrain can take that. so lot's of upgrades in between.
it's going to cost way more than the car is worth. the breaks alone are going to run around 4k.
it's possible.... anything is possible, but is it a good idea to put 20-30K into this project to get a sporty pathy, or just buy a sports car?

Crossing my fingers that engine would get mounted by this saturday. I had a lot of problems with my past mechanics, so thats why there has been a huge delay on my setup. I called up a different mechanic and he took a look. He said will start by thursday or friday and can get it done in a max of two days. Hopefully I can get all of those acceleration videos that I promised (after the break in)!
