Word man, a cracked manifold would make me want to find the nearest living thing and kill it. There are plenty of places on the exhaust side of the head to brack a manifold to, so using them might be an idea. It might look goofy as hell but as long as it doesnt break I think that would be a win in my book. Function over form any day. 1600cc/min for a 700hp rotory, which are known to run rich as hell, and you are gonna use them in your engine? I had better see sick power, or I am coming over there...

I read this thread from start to finish and I can clearly see it progress from sanity to rediculous. Why do I think things are getting out of hand, again.

It is getting out of hand but if it wasn't this would just be another "look I rebuilt my motor" thread. However this is " !!!!"

The only thing I have to make is the manifold and if it doesn't work well I have another turbo I can replace it with. I have all the other parts, what the hell? At the very least the finished pics will bounce around the internet for years and spark hundreds of "who's engine is this"? threads and the subsequent newb facination with twins.

dont tell me thats a cd20t block. It would make sense with it being a beefy enough crank, and rods, etc. Also, the stud holes had to be enlarged. can you really just bolt a CA head to a CD block i mean I know they are same family like L28s and LD28s. GL.

All will be revealed when I have finished. I know it sucks but I would prefer to present it to the horde as a fully baked step by step build. I promise I will dubut it here and only here. I am not showing this anywhere else. Take care of your own. Somebody have an injector retailer they can recommend? I need 1200cc but that appears to be an uncommon size. 1000cc is too small and 1600cc is too big unless I want 700hp which I don't think I could do at my current skill level. God what a beast that would be, I would have to mentally prepare to drive something like that.

I hear good things about RC engineering as a lotof my friends have gone to them. Im not sure on the sizes and everything, but they of all people should be able to tailor an injector to suit your needs. at 1200cc/min its going to be more of a firehose than an injector anyway. wait WHOA, $145.45 AU per injector? das cheap. http://www.tweakit.net/shop/pr...=6443 there ya go man, bosch usually makes some up to par products (aside from oil filters and spark plugs of course).

EDIT: found em cheaper from RC, as I thought. $98/injector US. http://redheadracing.net/catal...id=44

Those are like, exactly the same ones I listed. Might as well buy eight of them so you can use the secondary ports on your manifold and run pure methanol.

There are a couple of injectors at this flow rate all with different dimensions. These appear to be drop-in replacements, the others no.I think four of these garden hoses should be adequate.

Is anyone interested in buying the manifold off me? I did that manifold because I could not run proper-size mains. That is no longer the case so the sub bosses are extraneous.

Not if you run methanol. I think the proper ratio for alcy is something like 5:1, so you would need a ton of it going in there. I like this idea, I think you need to do this.

Methanol? Why do that when I get 100 octane out of the pump here? Plus I worry about the invisible fire getting on me.

Have you ever seen invisible fire? You should check it out. It's sooo cool! All the kids are doing it.

I was thinking more of me running around in my shorts like Ricky Bobby trying to get the invisible fire off.

I'm guessing CA18ET block. I bet it'll clear the CA20e crank easily.

it's not a CA20 crank. That crank does clear the CA18 block though.

I must say I love that people are still trying to guess. I dont know, I dont care, all I want to see is the finished product. I WILL however keep making ridiculous suggestions regarding how the engine is run, what bolt ons it should have, etc.

Ah, nevermind then. Maybe its the CA18ET crank in the CA20e block? I'm just thinking out loud here hehe.

Invisible fire be damned, alcohol is one mean mother when it comes to internal combustion. plus you wouldnt need an intercooler to complicate your intake setup!

but I would have to flush out my fuel system at the end of the day and pickle it with gasoline. I am not building a drag car here.

Look mang, if this engine doesnt melt my brain from pure unbridled awesomeness, I will be deeply upset. Any updates? I'm bored like whoa.
