The point is your a f*** retard.PoorManQ45 wrote:the point is that there are bikes that have 100+ hp that weigh the same.Red coupe wrote: It weighs more then 350 lbs.
its all relative
The previous gen was built by Daihatsu I think, but this gen is built by Chevy/GM (again, I think... my positivity escapes me). The outgoing model is a piece. I got one as a rental, and wrote a review on it here:wingFeather wrote:The concept had a turbo. I like how it looks, and would like to support it but someone said it was built by Daewoo... so no thanks.
As for fuel economy, the website says it gets better highway MPG than Fit, Versa & Scion. Looks to be less expensive (except the xD) with a better warranty, too. Good news for people wanting a new budget car IMHO.
I was going to say that the transmission gear could make up for the difference, but then I looked at the 17.3 1/4 mile time of the 2010 Aveo...Red coupe wrote:
So basically you are trying to show that you manage with a slow low hp vehicle, so this must be fine... but this thing has only like 60% of what your bike does.
From what speed?dre1507 wrote: i like to know that when i step on the gas, the car feels inspired to get moving.
Have you ever driven a 240sx?PoorManQ45 wrote: From what speed?
I have yet to be in a vehicle that didn't have sufficient passing power under 70mph...
Yep. Goes just fine.Razi wrote:Have you ever driven a 240sx?PoorManQ45 wrote: From what speed?

"Going just fine" isn't the same as feeling inspired to move.PoorManQ45 wrote: Yep. Goes just fine.
So do the base model elantra and G5...
I think we are looking at the subjective nature of a vehicle.Razi wrote:"Going just fine" isn't the same as feeling inspired to move.PoorManQ45 wrote: Yep. Goes just fine.

Yeah I'd rather have a fun car than a car like the PT Cruiser.PoorManQ45 wrote: You guys seem to need to enjoy the ride, regardless of if you're actually going somewhere useful.
I would much prefer to take a vehicle to a track, if afforded the opportunity, to have fun then do so on public roads with other people around.
You weren't around when I had the Q45. I didn't want to spend $300 on the under plenum hose kit so I used the local hose supplier and did the job for ~$50Razi wrote:PoorManQ45PoorManQ45 wrote: To me a vehicle on the road is pretty much used to get from point A to B with minimal cost.

That vehicle was a hand me down. Can't complain.Razi wrote:And yet you owned a V8 that's attached to a monolith that gets 17mpg.

Shoulda bought a Geo, bro.
Unfortunately it is difficult to fine 125s anymore...Razi wrote:Whoa.
250?
That's more than you need.
Yep, 0-60 in under 8 seconds should do just fine...IBCoupe wrote:Never seen a short on-ramp in your life, have you, PMQ? Try driving the roads in and around NYC. You get 50 feet to get up to speed.
Red coupe wrote:Seriously man...
Why do you post on a car enthusiast forum if you don't care about fun cars and just want basic a->b transportation?
You don't go to the track, and say you don't care about a fun car on the street... Why are you here?
