Price check the Nitto NT01 I have seen alot of these used in road course applications aswell as autocross. They are a bit cheaper than the RA1 tires and from what i have been told they are a bit longer lasting. Good Luck.

Mustang 17x10.5 +24's cleared inboard on the S14. The S13 shouldn't be a problem. Since the tires you guys are running are a bit smaller than the ones I ran, you might be able to get away with a big pull. Not sure how much narrower the S13 is than the S14, though.
Yeah, these are the 9" wheels with a +15 or something I think, but lets hope they do fit. If it did resemble your old set-up in anyway I would be quite happy for sure!

I've actually been finding the Ra1's for about 165 for the 275/40/17, haven't found a price that nice on the NT01's yet.

remember to include the cost of shaving the ra-1's into your price calculation, normally around $20 per tire for the sizes youre getting

Good point any show that wanted to accept it would have to be off their rocker.

I've seen that car, It's beautiful. Ours on the other hand, not so much.

Yes they do, and if some bish hadn't hit you on the eve of your GT Live journey you too would have been able to drool on their car, actually they won the unlimited class matter of fact... they were jerks in person though. I went over to check out the car and they were like hey you can't be over here blah blah blah... could go right into the pits for the Porsche teams though.

I can't say I would want someone particularly under foot, while working on a car at the track. It's a distraction.

they had it there last year too dan, thats when they were complaining about *only* being able to do like 155 on the back straight because they kept breaking splitter rods

some teams are more relaxed when prepping than others, its really a team by team basis...ive found the same thing

personally i wouldnt have a problem if somebody was just standing back and watching...but if im trying to prep the car for an event and somebodys sitting next to me asking questions it might be different

even then though, ive been invited to get much closer looks at some cars right before heading out then i wouldve expected...guys at PTG BMW let me check out their M3's at the glen 6 hour a few years back about 15 mins before they were heading out to pre grid while they were checking the engine and stuff...you never know really

actually in fact the car i looked at was the one that cartwheeled in the rolex series race at mid ohio last year

So after a 5 month or so wait, there's rumors of a turbo on it's way. Sucks, I was almost done building my own foundry to make one after all this wait

No duh, was like 10' away though and not in their space at all, was just a little curt of them to behave as they did.

you guys can laug and whatnot if you want but i would really like to know how important those welds are?

i've seen it done before and i need to weld up a few spots below my front strut mounts so i'm wondering if this is important enough to do while im at it.
