Has anyone here heard anything about prochargers. A friend of mine has a procharged eclipse and is making like 900+hp.

Procharger and other centrifugal superchargers are basically just the compressor side of a turbo that's belt driven. They don't reach maximum boost until you reach maximum RPM. As the rpm goes up, so does the boost. So if your max boost is say 7 psi, you'll average 1 psi per 1000 rpm. Now it's not that exact, but thats the gist of it. The ultimate in lag if you ask me.

^ speaking of prochargers the company "ProCharger" came out with its new F4...............Looks like you could also use it as a wood chipper.

http://www.streetlegaltv.com/f....html

When I came over to the Procharger booth first thing Thursday morning, I thought this was some kind of cruel joke. A supercharger the size of a trash can attached to the front of a big block Chevy, and it is nearly half the size of the engine itself. This is the new Procharger F4 supercharger and it even requires a minimum of 900 naturally aspirated horsepower to make it work but, its rated for 3200hp

Here is a vid of a car with the smaller F3 charger on it

Watched The Simpsons today; I had forgotten how funny they are.

Anyone have any preference between The Simpsons and Family Guy?

So I haven't posted around Nico lately, and I figured this was a good place as any to post up and say hi to everyone.

It's been kind boring here for the last 4-6 weeks. Once the temps drop below the 40s my tires on the 240 are useless.

Man wrapping = I go buy Christmas bags and tissue paper, throw items in, cover with tissue paper.

Crappy day for the 240; lost a wheel centercap and burned out an e-fan...

I'll be wrapping gifts with newspaper this year.

Want a cheap E-Fan fix? Go to any junkyard and grab a set of fans from the Ford Taurus. I recommend those because they've been used on boosted V8 applications with no over heating issues. If the Taurus fans aren't available, try for another set off of something with a V6 that is FWD. Maybe a Buick or something

I was gonna use E-Fans but I decided to lose the stock clutch fan for a aluminum version that's rated at 2100 cfm...yeah baby

Altima fans are also recommended, I have those.

Will this day ever end? Need long weekend asap.

The newer Alty fans or the older 4 banger version? In my head, fans designed to keep a larger engine cool would be the better option.

Man this new laptop I got is friggin awsome. I'm streaming music, running an initial virus scan AND flipping through web pages with no delay at all. This whole Windows 7 thing is weird though. I'm a XP guy...I didn't even use Vista at all. So this is a HUGE change.

I got Modern Warfare for the Wii and the sure shot gun. I haven't had a chance to play it yet because my little sister's rabbit chewed the power cord for my Wii
