Me and all of the kids in my neighborhood would get together once a week and fight with air soft guns until SOMEONE shot a kid in the eye

When I was active duty stationed over on Okinawa we used to play at this abandoned hotel. It was a huge layout. We'd wear nothing but black thermals so you could feel it every time you got hit. We did however use the proper face shields, stupid not to.

Good times for sure. Better then paintball.

I always did use a face shield but some stupid kids didn't want to.

Sorry I'm 4 days slow, but yes my KA-T coupe is up and running now, just need to install my ebc, turn up boost, and dyno to make sure A/F is safe.

I'll tell ya...I don't like Modern Warfare on the Wii. Controls are wack...

I do however like to crank up my surround sound and get some bowling on. Nothing like bowling in your living room while listening to music you actually like. I get so into it, we even do beer frames. Loser serves everyone else beer from the fridge.

The other day I played golf and bowled for like 4 hrs...lol. I was hammered when my wife came home

Off boost cruise should be in the 14's with the getting richer as load increases. When under a heavy load or WOT you want low to mid 12's. I think the 11's is just wasting fuel. I guess it really depends on your ability to tune your ignition curve. When I used the MSD BTM I ran in the mid to high 12's because it pulled timing earlier then I wanted it to. But I was able to run in the 12's with no knock. Maybe richen it up right around where you make peak torque, this will cool it slightly and make more power.

Sorry I didn't reply in the wideband thread, link?

I absolutely despise Windows Vista.

So I tried to download Firefox and Chrome - neither would work. I fiddled with a whole bunch of settings as suggested by Mozilla, Google, and Windows forums, even did a "system restore"... A complete waste of time.

Vista sucks so hard that it wouldn't even let me install Internet Explorer 8.

I've been an XP user for years, love it. But Win 7 came on my new laptop. If you have a minimum of 3 gigs of ram, Win 7 eats a gig all by itself, it works really well. I dig it.

Vista does suck, I have that on my laptop. I've been using XP for a long time too. I think it might be time for me to upgrade to win 7

+1 on losing the muffler, but I'd keep the wheels...

On an unrelated topic, I've never worked on carburetors but have always been curious about them. A Google search produced this awesome homemade video on how carbs work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgQfZ5Yi1fU

Which do you guys think is better to use. A tubular manifold, or a cast manifold.

I've read that the cast manifolds have a faster spool, but don't produce as much torque as a tubular manifold.

Tubular should be better for anything when talking performance. Cast log would usually be more durable.

For me it all comes down to price vs reward. If I was aiming for 500+ whp and had a baller budget then I'd be all about the tubular manifold. But the gains are marginal compared to cost when the power goals are under 500.

Just my .02

The best way to really think about something like this is to compare the NA log style manifold to the tubular header. Which flows more and makes more power, the answer obviously being the tubular header with equal length runners.

Having the exhaust energy exit the head smoothly and merge into the collector while maintaining high velocity is the key. Look at the LS7 manifold...

Not even equal length, but short runners that are so good from the factory that they don't need to be replaced at all. Those are an excellent example of engineering at work. Note the unique oval collector.
