Yeah, see you're wrong. It's not an impressive street vehicle. I drive one of the ****tiest cars you can think of - a base model '96 neon sedan with a 132hp sohc motor - and I will bet you $100 and it will outperform your landbarge in any contest of speed. I don't care if it's from a stop, from a roll, ****ing backwards, you're wrong and you should accept it.pito11213 wrote:Well I guess you could blame the majority of the now 16 pages on mostly me. I was trying to point out that the Q45 while not a drag machine by any means is an impressive street vehicle. Considering its size and weight it can run with the big boys STOCK FOR STOCK. Some guys started saying "My C5 will smoke that thing." "Or a turbo charged neon will smoke me." I mean the neon upon release had a 0 - 60 time second only to the viper on the dodge line. What kind of a comparison is that.
Have you spent one too many nights 'racing' down Lindberg? You're wrong, and so is your friend. Let him lose $100 to show it.Jesda wrote:All NICO members with a membership to ClubSi should be dragged into the street and beaten for the garbage they brought back with them.

I'd wager that Pito's Q probably isnt anywhere near that quick, with bad injectors, a dirty plenum, and old hoses.

I don't street race. Ever been to Gateway International Speedway?Jesda wrote:LOL! Sorry you cant handle published data.
Street racing is for morons. Take it to the track and spare the lives of others.
Youre here at 4am on an Internet forum making physical threats at some college student you've never met. I hope your parole officer doesnt read this.
Ok, I'm going to be nice about this.Jesda wrote:Gateway International is pretty cool.
But this is between you and him. You guys can settle it at the track.
As far as published data, you can see the same consistent info in Road and Track, Car and Driver, and Automobile Magazine. In other words, the actual information and performance of the vehicle as-designed is strongly on his side, but the condition of his vehicle is not. This is where you may have a good advantage.
I almost hope he loses, for trolling.
I know the strengths, limitations, and performance characteristics of my car. I'm not sure what running around screaming and hollering about it will accomplish.
Well yes thats true, and keeping everything stock is my preference for longetivity, comfort, and efficiency. In case you havent noticed, I'm not much into the racing scene. I'm also nearing 200k on the Q.Blaise wrote:If everbody ran the same times as published data (lol) then racing wouldn't be racing, it would be math, and incredibly boring.
That's not trolling.Jesda wrote:Whatever ridiculous exchange began over there there, ended up moving here; -that- was the problem. You said you went over there to start something... I call it trolling, even if they may be woefully ill-informed.
You mean, the vehicle that your parents help you purchase .Jesda wrote:A quiet cruiser with long legs and a big comfy captain's chair is mostly what I look for in any vehicle I purchase.
