I was posting because when I posted about the Q they said so many insults that I had to defend it. I am not scared of a little arguing here and there. But come on comments like a new neon or civic could beat my 90 Q. The answer is no

This thread needs either more lovin, or more headbashing...this quasi friendly argument is just not doing it for me.

This amuses me.

However...I just have to step in and say a few things. This is not supporting the "SI" side or the "NICO" side. This is supporting my side. So don't get your undies in a bunch...

First, as a driver of a front drive car, I'd just like to say that anyone who says "Front Wheel Drive sucks" really needs to shut up. My front drive is an excellent car, and the front wheel drive is not a downside. In fact, it has quite a few benefits. I may not be able to drift, but that's just about ALL I can't do. And I can break the back end loose if I want, even WITHOUT the ebrake. It's called experience. Or, in terms of the pissing contest that most car debates rapidly degrade into, I'd like to see ANY of your RWD cars in stock shape (aside from the Q and G35--they're out of my league) come close to what my FWD can do stock.

Second, while I will always be a Nissan guy first and foremost, I get pretty damn sick and tired of the whole Honda v Nissan war. There is nothing wrong with Civics. Sure, they've got their share of ricers, and yeah, it outweighs the ratio of rice to nonrice of most other models, but guess what? It's not hurting me! And I HAVE seen some very respectable Civics out there. There are also rice 240's. Hell, I've even seen rice Maximas. Rice is rice. I have enormous amounts of Maxima ownership pride, but I don't go giving them **** about it. And if someone likes rice, then more power to them. No one has a right to say there's something wrong with that, ( I personally HATE rice. I hate any mod that is not directly related to performance) and no one has the right to give them **** for it.

Okay. There. Continue the argument. I'm done.

Front wheel drive cars have always had the image of being the drivetrain of choice for non-sporty econoboxs, but they do hold their own, especially when getting the most power to the wheels (which rear wheel drive cant really compare to) as well as driving in less-than-ideal weather conditions.

What I enjoy about Nissan and Mazda is that they arent afraid of bringing performance and handling to their bread-and-butter cars.Even the grocery-getter Mazda MPV is fun to drive.

I would venture to say if that poll were posted in a different sub forum you would get alot more civic owners responding.

SVA has a different demography than the rest of clubsi. If I go to a different area of Clubsi I get flamed.... of course I usually deserve it. There are a few Civics in SVA but not very many and they are modded for performance and not ricey.

LOL gotta love how they refer to the 240's the way they do. I am "azn" so I don't see anything wrong with owning a "Mad tite dorifuto azn hoochie magnet (240SX, AE86, miscellaneous SCC wundercar)" since we azns need all the help we can get to protect our women from those "evil white men."

Haha, but seriously, down here in SoCal, you see azn women with "caucanz" everywhere and my friends are always complaining. I for one applaud them for know how to "play the game."

I personally don't date asian women, so I wouldnt say that's "playing the game." I love a tan, blonde girl.

Thankfully the Lexus owners club has yet to incite a rivalry with NICO's Infiniti General.
Jesda, that's a good Idea!! Give me a few links to Lexus forums.

Me, pito, and Altiman can go to them and bring bags of $hit back with us

That is ricer stereotyping used as a joke ie usually that stuff is said in jest and was used in that instance to "haze" your boy that made his entrance over there.

LOL! This is great. I can imagine the chaos if Lexus was brought into this.

Internet War I and maybe Internet War II. Not pretty. Especially since IM the new V.P. and 1der is president.

Shut up newb, for I am totally old school and all the kids on this board look up to and idolize me because I'm a hateful little troll who bashes people for having differeing opinions and/or vehicle preference, while I, the venerable E-thug have at best, a modestly modded, slow car but still firmly believe that I am the s***.

I'll admit it, I like both Civics and Integras, they can be made into very capable point-to-point cars across real world roads. I'd love to have an ITR or CTR.

With that said, the ownership culture around them is terrible. I'm really not screwing with all Honda owners here, but I am going so far as to say that in general, the enthusiast community for civics is infinitely more obnoxious than the enthusiast community for 240s (again, in general).

Let it be known that I've owned and very much enjoyed Hondas m'self.

In case no one coud tell, I didn't even read the Club Si thread, I'm just talking out of my a$$ here.....
