Actually, that's a good question. I'll be supplying numbers. My son has already printed 125 separate pairs of numbers (paper), which participants receive upon registering. You'll tape them to the inside of both rear quarter windows. I'll bring some tape, but hopefully some other folks can bring some too in case I run out.sean350z wrote:This might be a stupid question but should I bring numbers for my car or we just rollin with painters tape or no numbers at all?
You got it. Thanks again!NSR A32 wrote:Throw me back on for the 9-10 tech on sunday. Come on people!!! Fill those corners! There are going to be a lot of us there, we can fill these spots. If we don't have enough people, we can't do it!!
Excellent. Thank youkireiS14 wrote:i'm drifting, but sign me up for Sunday: corner worker #3 for auto-x (11:00am - 12:00pm)i'll be out there with my polka dot parisol ^_^
Great, you 'da man. I'll go over tech with you on that Saturday morning. It won't be difficult. Just wear clothing that you don't mind gets a little dirty.corey240 wrote:i guess i can do tech on both days in the mornings if sombody shows me what needs to be specificaly checked, im pretty shore ir wouldnt be anything hard but i dont want to be responsible for sombody getting killed by a flying wheel or flying into the crowd from a small leak that got big on sombody car.
I can bring some extra tape as well. If we have magnetic numbers already can we use those?Bubba1 wrote:

Sure, that's fine. All I ask is that you give the number you want to use in advance so I don't assign that same number to someone else.sean350z wrote:

I got 22 and also have an extra 1 so if someone wants a cool magnetic 1 to use for Saturday I'll bring that as well.Bubba1 wrote:

22 it is.sean350z wrote:

As for more volunteers, if there are any open spots that need filling once there I'll be glad to step in and pick up some cones when I'm not autoxing. But since I can't do Sunday that might not help.
Good questions. I'm afraid someone else will need to sign off your tech form. I'm sorry.corey240 wrote:even if i do tech could i tech my own car also? il need it done. this is gona be crazy, im gona have to tech cars, get my car teched, run straight over to the course to get cones, drive, repeat. does anyone have a mini crotch rocket they can take so i can ride it from place to place? lol
I'll make the adjustment, no problem. Bear in mind to get to the first corner worker area, you're talking about maybe a 90 second walk. There should be be plenty of time to get from point A to to point B. It's not that big a place.corey240 wrote:il be my skateboard, it will work nicely lol. yea i figured it would be beter to have somone eld tech my car anyway. seriously though, do you think i could have enough time to get my car teched, tech cars, and then go corner work? or should i just do tech for an hour so i wont be so rushed? i just dont want to be late to corner work at all.
EDIT: Actualy go ahead and take me off the saturday 9-10 tech, because im signed up for corner work at 930 and that obviously wouldnt work out. im pretty shore sombody els will be there that could cover that hour of tech.
Hi Wes. Yes, you can absolutely swap out tires. The only catch is you gotta take 'em home with you at the end of the event. Carlisle can't dispose of old tires.elwesso wrote:Looks like im late to the party...
Wes Stinson wes @ Q45.org1994 Infiniti Q45tExperience- Ive done auto-X before and Ive taken my car sideways, but I havent drifted on a drift course...
Let me ask, im sure this has been asked before but I ahvent had a chance to read all 8 pages.......... Are we allowed to swap tires for the drift event? I dont want to roast my expensive 275 if I dont have to!!
Can we share helments? I have a couple HJC motorcycle helmets that I can use but I think my cousin ripped the stickers out...
Also, bubba, I will obviously help in any way I can whenever Im not engaging in motorsports...

Carlisle Fairgrounds, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, right?
The cars will be close enough to where the NICO guys are hanging out... Besides, once you get there and start hanging out with the crew, youll forget that you brought a car...Loki wrote:Yep, absurdly easy to get to. I hop on I81, and that's it!
Is there a place for NICO cars to show off? This would be my first event of this sort, so I'm a newb to the mechanics of it...
LOL I'm not counting the weekend days. I need to talk with one of you NSR guys about the drive there. I'd like to meet up with you when you leave Cleveland...NSR A32 wrote:Evan, it's already a couple of weeks before the event...
