Alright! I'm glad there is interest this year! Lets aim for FebruaryPlease, post up what works for you asap. Even request if off now if you have to.

As for right now- I am in for any weekday (when its cheaper and less crowded) or weekend. Whichever brings more members out!

We can all cram into a hotel room (or two) as needed and split the cost.

In regards to what mountains under consideration, here is the list of mountains that don't suck.- Shawnee Peak (ME)- Sunday River (ME)- Mt. Cranmore (NH)- Attitash/Bear Mountain (NH) (Awesome!)- Bretton Woods (NH)- Black Mountain (NH)- Wildcat (NH) (Awesome!)- Stratton (VT) (Awesome, and I might be able to get discounts on lift tickets)- Killington (VT)- Mt. Snow (VT) (Awesome!)

Post your best days ASAP and we can all come to a compromise and I'll work on organizing a group rate on lift tickets for the days we choose to go. Feel free to invite friends and family, as long as they can respect a hotel room and not trash it/ruin the members name (or mine!) on the hotel reservation.

Looking forwards to this, guys!

Confusing, because he said "get fu*ked upand ski for $70". Nothing about a hotel stay.

So you're telling me you get alcohol, lift tickets and a room for $70?

he's saying that if all you're planning on doing is hitting the slopes and partying, and you don't care about the cleanliness of the accommodations, two nights at that place is cheap at 70 bucks.

Titos last post about staying there two nights for $70 is right. Lift tickets for Jay which gets the best snow on the east coast are very cheap considering the likes of killington and SR/ Sugarloaf and Stowe. Usually around 50ish a day.

Okay, very misleading.

What you're saying is that it's $70 for 2 nights hotel, 50-ish for lift tickets per day (another $100) and then you have to buy food and libation (probably another $100 minimum) right?

Meh. Sounds like a rich man's version of fun to me. You guys have fun out there!

skiing/snowboarding is not cheap. you see savings getting a season lift ticket. if you're going to do just a weekend, those prices are pretty cheap for hotel and full day lift tickets.

I wouldnt call Gramp Grunts a hotel. Its also BYOBeer and Bud. You can also bring your own food cook it there if you want to....... There is a complimentary home cooked breakfast every morning. The owner also owns a house that gets rented out. Which is were we have stayed a couple of different times. It is alot nicer and cleaner. Not alot more money too considering you can sleep like 20 people in it.

Dave just to throw up a comparison. Stowe charges $91 a day for an adult lift ticket. To stay there will cost you anywhere between 180-500 dollars a night.

Who said anything about a comparison? I was trying to get a base figure and no one posted anything up!

It seems to me it would only be worth it for you upper NEsters anyway because of the cost of travel. SO much for calling it a NICO trip, it's really more like a local thing only.

I call them "BS taxes".

They usually amount to about $10-20 per night any state you stay in.

Cool man, we'd like to have you come on by. I live in Providence, which is a HUGE Southwest hub, but can possibly pick you up in Boston- though there are probably closer members to make that more convenient.
